Wera5051045001 Tools 26Pc Zyklop Ratchet ¼" Socket and Bit Set with pouch (Metric)

While this is still expensive at half off retail, it is a great tool.+ You can definitely tell it's German engineered: awesome design; super cool pivoting ratchet head; lots of ingenious design components; great bit set.- You can definitely tell it's made in the Czech Republic: a few minor cosmetic things here and there which are lacking; still high quality.The ratchet works well. It has a 5-degree ratcheting mechanism, which is awesome for a 1/4" ratchet. As no doubt you've noticed, the pivoting head is a great feature. Because this ratchet is small (as most 1/4" ratchets are), when you pivot the head 90 degrees it works like a ratcheting screwdriver. Super cool! It has a button to lock on sockets/bits (again, like higher quality ratchets do).The pouch it comes in does a great job of keeping everything together, and does so without plastic! I'm tired of all tool sets these days coming in crappy plastic containers that are overly bulky, yet flimsy. This canvas job works well, although since every piece is held in by elastic bands, I'm concerned over time the parts won't stay in. (And a minor gripe: the elastic bands holding in the ratchet - the one thing you need to take out EVERY time - are too tight, and it takes a while to get it out of its case.)I'm not sure the Amazon page lists this: it comes with PH1, 2, 3; SL 5.5mm; Torx 10, 15, 20, 25, 27, 30; Hex 3mm, 4, 5, 6; Pozidriv 1, 2; and metric sockets 5.5mm, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13. The flat sides of the hex bits are rounded; haven't checked that they work well, but I'm sure that's for a reason. The sockets, as you might agree, come in some odd sizes... The quick-release chuck included for the driver bits is unfortunately not as well-functioning as Wera 05052500003 W/Quick-Release Chuck Universal Bit Holder, despite looking the same. Also included is a long extender (150mm I believe).

This is one of my favorite tools (sets), there is nothing that comes close to its precision, versatility, strength, and function. Expensive yes, but using it creates believers.

Working in a metal shop this kit comes in handy all throughout the day. Going from one job or process to the next, this kit gives you a great collection of required items all in a convenient pouch. The Ratchet is a quality piece, the gears and interaction of the ratchet mechanism are smooth, consistent, and strong. Even with this little 1/4 ratchet I can accomplish sizable work at great convenience to myself or the job I'm working due to the innovative nature of the tool. Easily and quickly switch from one task to the next with a minimum reconfiguration of the many options given in this set. It's a great set for any mechanical work, emergency roadside troubleshooting, metalwork and the setup of various jobs and orientations therein. Overall I'd say very pleased with the quality and performance I've received from this item, I plan to expand the set down the road as well.

Expensive but sweet tools, I bought it to use in vehicle interiors. It is obviously not mechanics tool set, better suited to cleaner environments. Not that these wouldn't perform flawlessly doing any task, they're just too nice to get grungy. :-)Great drive, it has tight gearing, so using in tight confines works really well. Adjustable angle head is a nice addition. The grip is fantastic, comfortable, ergonomic and non-slip.Nice driver bit selections, common hex and torx sizes, three phillips, and two pozidrives (oddly it only contains a single slotted bit) good socket selection for the 1/4" drive (I added a gator grip to get a few bigger without adding much just in case)I am definitely enjoying using them!

You get what you pay for! Is a perfect saying regarding this kit. Whether your are a professional or a casual computer tech like me, this kit is amazing. Everything about it exudes quality. I was looking for a new computer kit to use when I build my systems or do minor repairs around the house, came across this Wera Tool kit. Never heard of this brand and the $90 price tag scared me off, then I did some Google research and learned about the brand.Do NOT let the price scare you off. Its like buying knives, you can buy a new $20 knive every 6 to 12 months or buy a $100 knife that will last you 10 years. This is how you should look at this kit. The design is impeccable, everything about this kit is perfect. I recommend this to any level user. You will not regret spending the money on this tool set!

This is certainly the most versatile set of tools you could fit into this size package. I don't know how the durability will be, but the ability to swing the socket sideways to get a a screw in a difficult position sure is handy. Some very clever engineering here, which makes it fun to use but also productive. My only gripe is that I wish the diameter of the handle were a bit larger, when using as a screwdriver it's a bit small in my (large) hands.

The ZYKlop ratchet is junk and is not serviceable! Its not durable first using it on 10mm bolt i felt it skip then CrAcK 2-3 teeth broke off inside the ball ratchet This thing is more prone to breakage then a children's plastic tool set , ok i blamed myself at first thinking i overdid it so using it with the broken ratchet now the rotating ball pulls out rolling down the floor, Don't beat yourself up this is true junk.

This one is a pleasure to use, specially for screw driving applications. All the included accessories are of premium quality.Only thing I don't like about this ratchet: The thumbwheel (used to change ratcheting direction), which is supposed to be intuitive and easy to use: well, it is neither. I prefer the good old "switch" found on every other single ratchet I own.

No había tenido oportunidad de probar esta marca de herramientas y al principio por sus dimensiones tenia mis dudas, pero al trabajar con la matraca y los dados brindan una gran seguridad de que no vas a barrer los tornillos o lo que estés apretando, ademas de que puedes aplicar bastante fuerza, excelente producto me gusto mucho para traerlo en la motocicleta.

Recibido, con la rapidez habitual, se constata la gran calidad de construcción. Las expectativas tan altas, por su calidad y precio, se ven satisfechas cuando tienes la herramienta en la mano. Todo encaja con gran precision y la terminacion de cada pieza es muuuuy alta.Aun no he podido darle el uso profesional, para el que lo compré, y editaré mi opinion si no cumpliera las altísimas expectativas de uso, y de resistencia, que una herramienta asi genera.
