Must buy another
Still to this day Its a solid printer! After my1200hours of printer I have updated and upgraded only minor things. Its 1500 hours and still running. I also got 2 for my school as D&T teacher and business account get it cheaper ยฃ330 it was and ยฃ305 now with the discounted price. I have updated the belt with I hated but it doesn't make much of a difference! I used to think its going to be a headache but it was 20min with NO disassembly required! I kid you not. As a High speed printer itโs very fast and it has a lot of torque! So the standard Belt was made to break! The printer will outlive the belt. Fastest way to change the belt is to undo X first from both sides of the printhead, glue one side to the new belt, then just pull through and feed the new one in place. Its that easy and its only 1.5/1.3meters of belt required for X and same goes for Y axes. Printable have a good 5M/5MPro communities as well as Thingyverse. Fot new tool head cooler and such. I advise you to go on Alibaba for part cooling fan if you break it like me or for toolhead fan. Its only ยฃ2/ยฃ3 each on their and no where to be found on Amazon or Temu. It works a charm. The top lid extension is a must! (You now if you know) Extended Bowden tube and replacement is a must! (Stock one is fragile and incompetent) -grey with 2mm inner bore is a good option. Flexible bed - many options for 256x256 same as many others (cheaper on Aliexpress) And printouts for grills and others such as part cooling clip for safety and long prints is a must if you like tinkering! I tried others such as 2 Auxiliary fans which is a waste of time and money! Do not do it. You could get Opensource Klipper firmware update, BUT stock one is really solid and has updates regularly. You can get better silicon feet than stock ones which are only mentioned to be anti-slip, it does eat up much of the vibrations. Future upgrades I am looking forward to getting a 150x150mm 15mm thich iron plate to weigh down the printer under the bed at the bottom of the cavity as the printer is too light and much the inertia if being transferred rather than disposed off. I want to appreciate and celebrate ๐ฅณ the awesome 3D printer that is both usable and easy to use by far from any other project printers like Creality K1 with an unbeatable price range. I want to shout out to Flashforge for future upgrades and options for UK schools. For inspectors and obligation issues. Latching doors, emergency ๐จ stop button! Filter for intake! This meets 2 levels of safety in the classroom and workshops. And very easy fixes. I have designed and will be releasing the 5Mpro latching for both doors on Thingyverse. The emergency Stop button integration which is basically replacing the switch on the back with a push to break latching button with red and yellow colour. It would be awesome if there was a printable version with a simple limit switch embedded for everyone to tinker!

Fast and easy to use
Unboxing the printer meant lifting from the box and then removing the foam from the insides, unscrewing four bed retaining screws, mounting the reel holder and your ready to go. The automated initial setup ran through in about 10 minutes and then it printed a cube ! The second print of scraper wasn't so successful, lifting at one end and hitting the print head. After a really good clean of the plate, and using some 3DLAC spray, every print since has been perfect. Its almost as if the bed has some oil contamination from new. Its fast and the results are fantastic. Kit includes the 0.6mm nozzle too, tools to setup and adjust and a pair of snips to cut the filament. Probably the only thing missing is a scraper, but one of the built in models is that very item. The magnetic bed lifts easily meaning it can be popped out to remove prints and for cleaning. For my first ever 3D printer, I was up and printing from unboxing in less than 30 minutes. Once powered up it goes through quite an extensive setup procedure, including a vibration test, so its worth positioning in its final position before powering up so that the effect of the location is compensated for from the get go. Changing spools is quick and easy, and a nozzle swap takes mere minutes. The included tools are ok, in fact you have everything you need (apart from that scraper) in the box to get started. Just printed a palm sized Mariocart figure in PETG without a single flaw. Left to its own devices overnight, it has come out better than I could have ever expected. The flashprint slicer that turns your 3d file into a printable object works well, but if you have never printed before, have a quick read up about rafts and supports first then find the 'add supports automatically' function. Not sure why I would need to use a different one.

First 3D Printer
Found it easy to set up. Using the provided filament were able to print all the test prints. All the prints came out well. Printed with a few other filaments PLA/PETG and ASA. Had a few failed prints due to user error like not using supports and manifold error in the slicer. And not selecting the correct material for the current print. The unit connected easily to my WIFI and can see the status in the app "flash maker" However I still prefer to export the Gcode to the included memory stick. Was able to swap the nozzle over to the included 0.6 easily enough.

Excellent printer with minor side issues
I would give this 4.5 stars if possible. I am reasonably experienced at 3D printing but had recurring problems with my much modified Ender 5 so I wanted a reliable enclosed printer that I could just switch on and use mostly for making functional parts and this ticked many boxes. The new ranges of machines are billed as working straight out of the box and this does that excellently. Setup was very easy, but see connection issue below. The prints have consistently been the best I have ever produced and I can now use ABS and TPU confidently. I really like the easy swap nozzle, the camera, the internal fan, the speed, the reliable results and the price. Prints stick well to the plate even without the provided glue. For general printing this is an outstanding machine and I am delighted. For me, shortcomings are mainly software and docs and other people may not consider them important. The machine will work with most slicers (I used prusa) but there are only m/c profiles for their own Flashprint or Orca, a fork of Prusa, so I use Orca but it is a bit less refined imo. I have already suffered a nozzle clog and thankfully youtube came to my aid on how to clear it - the manual gives good basic info but does not explain detail. I needed to use the provided nozzle clearing prong but the video showed how to do so, loosening a screw on the side of the housing and forcing the prong down the extruder. I would not have known how to do this without that video but once I knew what to do it was quite straightforward. Connecting to wifi was flawless but I couldn't connect to it on my PC until I found out I needed to add port 8899 to the IP address so it is now connected but I still haven't been able to receive pictures from the camera. Again the manual is pretty sketchy about this. The spool holder is weak and has started to bend under the weight of a new spool of TPU so may not last long and I will experiment with using an external drier to hold the spool while printing. I definitely recommend the printer for newcomers to 3D printing or experienced users. the issues are not deal breakers and I expect that there will continue to be refinements to the software which will make it a pleasure to use in all aspects, especially if an octoprint type utility ever becomes an option. Edit: Thanks to Reddit I have the camera feed working - entered http://(printer IP):8080/?action=stream in my browser and live camera immediately available.

Broken
Unfortunately, my experience with the FlashForge Adventurer 5M Pro has been quite disappointing. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my partner, but we encountered multiple issues right from the start. Upon unboxing, we immediately noticed that the first print wouldn't stick to the platform due to the fan blowing it away. This resulted in a frustrating start and wasted materials. After troubleshooting and making adjustments, we were finally able to successfully print a star. However, our usage of the printer was limited due to our busy work schedules. It wasn't until recently that we decided to use it again, only to discover that the touch screen was completely unresponsive. According to the instructions on the website, the suggested fix was to select an option on the touch screen, which was impossible due to its unresponsiveness. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. Spending ยฃ500 on a product that turned out to be a mistake is disheartening, and I wouldn't wish this experience upon anyone else. The lack of functionality and unresponsive touch screen make it difficult to recommend the FlashForge Adventurer 5M Pro. I hope that the company takes note of these issues and works towards improving the quality and reliability of their products. It's important for customers to have confidence in their purchases, especially when investing a significant amount of money. Not really sure what to do.

Easy setup - Excellent print quality and build
Out of the box and up and printing within 10 mins. Setup is quick and easy, just follow the instructions provided and you won't go wrong. I bought this to replace my K1 Speedy which has sadly broken after 18 months solid hammering. I wanted a machine to replace this (K1) and after research I decided to go for the Flashforge. As stated afer 10 mins we were up and running and the first print was ready for the printer. I used the Orca Flashforge software and it's easy to figure out. My first print was not an easy one by any standards - but WOW!!! I am over the moon with the result, so smooth and accurate it's better than anything my previous printer produced. Now I have been printing 3D for over 18 months but I really am delighted with the print quality of this device, another big bonus is that it really is a low noise machine (compared to K1) - the difference is very noticeable. The first print was so good that I can't see any need to 'tinker' with the slicer - if they all turn out like this then I am honestly delighted. A few other things worth noting - Tree supports (i use these a lot) they came off perfectly with no mess! nevver had this on the K1. Loading filament is so easy - I mean really easy. First Layer - early days but amazing!. Speed - More than happy with the 0.4mm nozzle fitted. Build quality - Great for the price point. Screen and display - all good and do the job. Now if your after a decent printer then I don't think you can go wrong with this device. In summary I am simply delighted - lets hope it serves me well.

Very cool and easy to use
This is my first foray into 3D printing and I bought it on a whim after Xmas at 'full price'. I'd looked at a review or two and wanted a straightforward device that I didn't want to have to build, tune or techy mind meld with. With total honesty I can say it was printing in less than 5 mins after unboxing it and removing the packing screws and materials. About 20m later I had installed a slicer and downloaded a couple of models to try. It's pretty quiet and the filters do a great job of keeping unwanted smells at bay. I recommend downloading a side mounted spool holder (printable, the one with 4 bearings is great) as the rear spool holder is not good. The magnetic bed/build sheet is easy to align. The filament loading/changing is dead easy. The screen is very easy to see and use. It's not awfully noisy in use. What more.xan I say. For me, it was a great start to my 3d printing journey.

Best I've had
Wow. This printer is just fantastic. Upgrading from a Creality Ender 5 Pro to this is night and day. With the Creality I was always struggling to get the Z Probe Offset calibrated correctly and that led to many failed prints. With this printer that issue is gone for good. Everything is so much simpler, the bed is levelled and the Z Probe Distance measured automatically. Even changing filament and nozzles is an absolute breeze. And boy is it fast. By my calculations, it's got to be 3xfaster than the Ender 5 and the print quality is superior. It's a shame that it doesn't come with a 0.25mm nozzle instead of the extra 0.6mm though, I'd have found the smaller nozzle a lot more useful. Oh well, I'll just have to buy an additional nozzle. I love the fact that it is all pre-built and has an enclosure with a light inside and camera - although the camera is a little tempremental. The fans are quite noisy when it kicks into high gear so it's not something you'll want printing in close proximity to your bedroom.
