Very nice quality fragrance from Afnan. The opening has a unique raspberry metallic scent that’s very fresh for a leather fragrance, but it definitely gets more sensual as it dries down. It transitions into a ' smoky shadow' note, finishing with a nice spicy kick. The bottle design is just okay, but I care about the scent, not the packaging. Lasts a few hours and is perfect for cooler weather. Seller is 100% authentic!

It smells really good out of the box. I heard it gets better with time too. For the record, this smells better than a lot of expensive designer fragrances that I’ve smelled

Afnan Rare Carbon is one of the most consistently praised leather clones for a reason. The positioning is very clear. This sits firmly in the Tom Ford Ombré Leather lane, and the resemblance is obvious almost immediately. The opening is where you notice the biggest difference between the two. Rare Carbon starts with a bold leather and spice hit, but it’s slightly less nuanced than the Tom Ford. Ombré Leather has more complexity and smoother layering early on, while Rare Carbon feels a bit more straightforward right out of the gate. That said, it’s still very convincing. You still get that modern suede-style leather rather than something smoky or old-school. It smells clean, slightly sweet, and very wearable, which is exactly what makes the original so popular. As it develops, the gap starts to close. The mid brings in soft florals and warm amber tones, which round out the leather and make it feel more polished. This is where Rare Carbon starts feeling much closer to the Tom Ford DNA. The drydown is where Rare Carbon really earns its reputation. Once both fragrances settle, the similarity becomes striking. You get smooth leather, amber warmth, and soft musk, and at this stage the two are extremely close. In the air, the drydowns can feel almost identical, especially to anyone not doing a direct side-by-side. In terms of differences overall: - Tom Ford is more complex in the opening - Tom Ford feels slightly higher quality up close - Rare Carbon catches up significantly in the drydown Performance is strong on both. Rare Carbon holds its own here. You get excellent longevity and solid projection, very much in line with what people expect from Ombré Leather-style fragrances. This isn’t a watered-down clone. It performs. Stylistically, this is a very versatile leather. It works well for: - nights out - cooler weather - casual leather jacket settings - dressed-up casual wear - fall and winter rotation It’s one of the easier leather fragrances to wear because it stays smooth and modern rather than harsh or smoky. Overall, Rare Carbon works because it focuses on the part of Ombré Leather people actually love. It may not match the original’s complexity in the opening, but once it dries down, the resemblance is extremely strong. When you factor in the price difference and comparable performance, it becomes a very compelling alternative.

This is a strong leather scent and that's what is most prominent and if you like that idea then you will like this. This scent will stay with you for a long time, sometimes it feels like forever when it becomes overwhelming. For less than $25 it's not going to be the end of the world to add it to your collection if you need a leather fragrance. I struggle to find an occasion that I would even wear this to. What I have found useful is that it works well to later with sweeter or floral scents that lean feminine to bring together a real rock star vibe for a night out.

Another banger from Afnan. This is easily the best ~$20 fragrance that you can buy. The value for dollar cannot be overstated.

This smells so bad. Tried leaving it under the counter in the case for a month after getting some oxygen in and it still smells like gasoline that someone smoked cigarettes around. Not a fan. It disgusts my wife as well.

It's definitely a Dupe for Tom Fords 'Tuscan Leather' not 'Ombre Leather'. Still , it is good.

Excellent scent profile and performance. I only wear this under my shirt as it can be a bit too strong, but I also wear it by layering it with another scent too.

Ce parfum est bluffant, sa note de fond est très addictive. Les premières secondes il ne sent pas comme Ombre leather, pas moins bon, juste différent. Puis passer 10 minutes, vient un fort mélange de cuir et de framboise que l'on retrouve dans l'Ombre Leather. Et c'est bien cette note de fond si singulière et atypique que je souhaitais retrouver dans ce parfum. Je ne suis absolument pas déçu de retrouver cette senteur rare et hypnotisante. À voir sur la durée maintenant, car celà fait à peine 2h que je le porte.
