Does not fit the Radio Shack Pro-2052. This antenna is 6mm+ at the base and the hole in the top of the unit is only 5mm. I had to drill the hole out to accommodate the larger size. Works good after the modification.

My second review of this item. Guess the first one didn't take. The diameter is approximate. It makes a good replacement antenna for the products stated. Probably not a go to items for general replacement.

This was a replacement antenna for a remote control helicopter. It fit perfectly and had better range than the original antenna. It doesn’t seem to be made with high end parts/materials but it does work and fit excellent

This was the wrong antenna for my scanner. The thing that really gets me is that I paid $14.01 for it but when I return it, I only get $2.00? Something definitely wrong with that.

It did not fit my Radio Shack scanner, but after I drilled the hole in the scanner's case slightly larger it fit perfectly! The scanner now get better reception than I ever remember!
