Fantastic piece of kit for rig making
I have been struggling for years with hair rig making but this gadget is easy to use and the results are brilliant, it holds the hooks nice and firm while you tie up the rigs it’s so easy to use my rigs have never been so good

It is a good tool to use as I have arthritis now and find it hard to make my own but can with this tool only draw back is that it’s metal and needs a mat cover on the end of it as there is no grip or they could of “ knurled it “

Value for money
Ties the perfect knotless rigs with any material. Easy too use with good instuctions. Nice size and about the size of a large pellet waggler float

Not as strong as expected
The simplicty & effectiveness of this rig tying tool is brilliant, allowing you to create your own hair rigs with ease, and adjusting the length of the hair with accuracy. The concept is genius.However, I wasn't impressed with the strength of the clamp section. The hook must be clamped in place fairly tightly, so it doesn't move while you're tying the knotless knot. After only a few uses, the outer edge of the clamp (as can be seen on the right of the picture) started to give / stretch / bend / break. It hasn't broken off completely yet, but it's only a matter of time.OK, it was less than £6, but I still expected many years of hair rig tying before the tool started to show signs of wear & tear. I still use this tool occassionally, but usually tie them by hand more frequently now. There are probably better (stronger) rig tying tools on the market, and even though I don't think I'd buy another one, if I did, I would go for something more rubust than this NGT version.

a very handy tool especially if like me your eyes and dexterity are deteriorating, Still a little fiddly but helps make rigs nice and precise. would suggest pre-tying rigs at home in advance to make things easier. All in allwould definitly reccomend.
