What's the shortest board it can carry?

Hello. Thanks for reaching out! The backpack can carry any size surfboard up to 8 feet. If the board is really short and thin, you will have some excess strapping, but you can cut and tailor the webbing.

Can I surf or hydrofoil with this backpack on and not damage it? Looking to use it on downwind runs where I have to walk back up the beach 2 miles.

what is max payload ? will it work for my 85lb efoil board?

It is a sturdy, well made backpack, but I wouldn’t want to try it loaded with 85 lbs. I think a dolly or some other terrain rover would be a better choice. If you are fresh out of military boot camp I could see you making it work with the backpack.

What is the max width board it can carry, with a board that is 3” thick at its widest point?

29 inches. The backpack will carry all surfboards worldwide up to 8 feet. It's possible that there is an oddball surfboard shape out there that it won't carry, but we haven't seen anything like that yet. We have several customers using the bag for 8-foot and under SUPs.
