Excellent, moldable down/feather pillow that's comfortable for any sleep position.
Excellent pillow. Good fill volume. The down/feather fill is soft, resilient, smooth and comfortable. There are no feelable feather quills like some other pillows. It molds well so it's good for any position. And the dryer fluffing procedure works well to plump it up. No odors and I have a sensitive nose. The finely woven cover is a little stiff so it makes some noise when deformed. This may go away after washing but I've not yet washed it.

Beautiful American-made Pillow
If you have cervical problems or arthritis, it’s the perfect pillow. It’s soft and well-made using quality fabric. Just a slight incline for your neck, and would work well for stomach sleepers. No pointy feathers, just fluffy down. There is no off-putting smell to the pillow. When your down pillow arrives, it will be very compact (having been shrink-wrapped) - I purchased a king size-and you will wonder if it will ever be a pillow you can comfortably lay your head on. I put mine in the dryer on air fluff for about 10 minutes, And I was sleeping on luxury down that night. Before Covid, I was able to buy similar pillows for 30 or $40. The prices have gone way up; this one runs about $90 in 2024, so I’ll have to save my pennies in order to buy another one. But well worth it!

Pros and cons
The eider down pillow was exactly what I wanted in terms ofsoftness and weight. However, the covering was very stiff and actually crackled when the pillow was used. The pillow also seems to activate an allergic coughingreaction when I use it. I’m going to wash it to see if this might ameliorate my issues with this pillow.

Great Quality, and just as advertized
I have had shoulder surgery recently, and have experienced pain in my neck while sleeping as a result. I needed a “thinner” pillow to provide me with the flexibility of support. The pillow arrived in a plastic bag, in a factory box, and another box. While it was well protected, that’s a lot of packaging! I removed the pillow and popped it into my dryer on “air dry” for about 5 minutes, to fluff it. It fluffed up nicely! I wanted an all down (no feathers included) pillow, because the down is easier to mold to the shape needed, and there are no “pins” from feathers to poke at you. This pillow has just the right amount of down, a very high quality cover, and is easily shaped to my preference. I’ve now slept several nights on this pillow, and I am not waking with neck pain. While the price of this pillow is pretty steep (I mean, come on, Down Light. This same pillow was much less expensive not too long ago), I can recommend it for its performance and quality. As a note to purchaser: do be sure to purchase a proper allergy reducing zippered enclosure for your new Down Light pillow, not because of allergy issues with the down, but to protect this nice pillow from sweat, dust mites, the skin we all shed in bed, etc. Because that’s just gross. This is a great pillow if you are looking for a moldable, quality down pillow. Ideal for side and tummy sleepers, and folks with neck difficulties.

this is not a pillow
I have so much neck pain using this "pillow". I am 5'2" / meaning I am petite and my shoulder width is small/and most pillows are too fluffy for me; but this pillow is so flat that my head just lays on the mattress. I missed the return window I think, otherwise I would return it. It is real down, and the casing is nice, it is just not supportive at all and even with my small shoulder width it is still too flat. It really can't be a pillow. Most reviews said they had to use two for one pillowcase to have it actually work for them. I don't want to buy another.

Soft Comfortable Squishable Pillow!
If you sleep on your side and need support but the kind where you scrunch and squish the pillow up to the perfect comfort level you will love this pillow. I've tried other pillows that are fun to snuggle with but this pillow is a keeper I want to lay my head down on every night.I had another down pillow for years but it needs to go to the cleaners and I could not bear to be without a pillow for a week or so. This was a great solution and now I actually like it more than my original pillow. The fabric of the pillow is very crisp and takes a night to get used to but once I was asleep I did not notice anything. There are also no pokey feathers to irritate you. It seems like this is as much down as other pillows I've had in the past. Too much down and it would all clump together. This has a good mix of down and small feathers. I am very happy with this pillow and pleased I took a chance on it.To a good night's sleep...~The Rebecca Review
