I share a room with my brother and I get off of work late at night usually. When I get off I want to play some video games either on my desktop or vr. The light of the monitor would wake him up so I bought this and used my vr as a virtual monitor I haven't had many issues with it. And the issues I did have were kinda obvious for instance if the light wasn't positioned right I would lose traking so pretty much zero issues.It'd a great product for playing in the dark 100% recommend.

Diodes started burning out within two weeks, waste of money. Get the Tendelux 4 ir light, it's much higher quality.

I was excited to improve tracking on my Oculus Quest 2 with this additional IR light but didn't realize this light ONLY works in the dark. It has a light sensor that will keep the IR lights off, even if the switch is on, if it detects any light. I wanted to use this to supplement light, but as it ships, you can only use it with the lights off, there's no in between.This product is better suited for security cameras that only need IR at night. Do not buy for Oculus Quest 2.
