Bought it to try my hand at leatherworking. These work great for beginning work. Probably will upgrade in the future to something a little more sturdier but at least my inexperience is not ruining something expensive!

This is just what I ordered, New in a case. I now have every size for the smaller holes. They work perfectly, nice and sharp, everything you expect in a leather punch set. I do recommend.

Works for home use. Hole in one. I used a piece of wood to lay the leather on and worked very well. I wouldn't use metal because it may dull the edge of the tool.

This set is of punches are very good. As long as you keep them sharp like you should to any leather toll. This will work fine. Especially to start off your journey with leather the price is good.

The punches seem solid and sharp. They worked well for the thin leather I needed to punch a hole in. I like the small sizes available, as other brands do not have these small sizes. I will be waiting to see how long the sharp edge lasts as many generic brands do not last long.

Punches a clean hole in leather, canvas and webbing. Simple tool for a simple task. I use end grain wood as a back stop and a rubber mallet.

These punches are essentially disposable. I used one size to make 10-12 holes in 5-6 oz leather and the punch was too dull to continue use. The last hole took 21 whacks with the mallet to get all the way through the leather. There also seems to be some sort of quality issue with the punches getting stuck in the cylinder to where you can't remove them and the tool them becomes twice as useless. Don't waste your money, spend more for at least some quality.
