Siemens TQ903GB9 Bean to Cup Coffee Machine - Black

Great service from this seller via Amazon, Hughes Electrical. Delivered as promised (unlike the 1st place I bought from Amazon whoncs cancelled on me withoit notice). This is a great home bean to cup coffee machine. There isn't much YouTube content on the EQ900 range of models and I've learned there is a lot of misinformation. This one isn't silver as stated here, but piano black fronted (which I'd hoped for) and also the product info description says it's the 700 series. It isn't, it's the higher 900, so top of the line BUT this EQ900 does vary from others. So this is the TQ903GB9. Still an EQ900 but it only has a single bean hopper and not dual hoppers for 2 different coffee beans to choose from and also no cup warmers on top (not a deal breaker for me, but may be for some). The EQ900 plus is the top model from what I can make out, with self cleaning clip in pods above the milk frother, which this also has to hest milk etc.... Setup was super-simple, all self explanatory via screen by screen setup help. The Britta Water filter is a bit of a faff to get in as the 1st time it floated off on setup, so push a little more firmly and it does clip in. All instructions are on the clear touch screen and done, brewing in about 20 mins from opening the box to sipping your 1st hot drink The boxing was clever and packaging good. The great news is that this IS a WiFi machine, some ads say the TQ903GB9 is not on home connect. It prompts you via qr code on the display to download the smart app and that took about a minute to do, paired to WiFi and then you have coffee on demand, via Alexa or the phone app, really good! Finally, the machine is about as noisy as my old Nespresso, so quiet enough but not silent as some ads say. All in all delighted, great seller and highly recommended as this is a good price (£999), around £500 off the retail from Siemens direct and does have 2 years guarantee too. There are so many settings to play with, so looking forward to getting some nice drinks. Final top tip. Ignore coffee best before date etc... the critical part is the roasted date and anything more than a week or two over that date, will result is slightly less quality coffee. I didn't know this untill today, so buy from a reputed coffee bean seller who roasts the week they dispatch. There's a few on Amazon to pick from. Thanks, Will

I purchased the TQ903GB9 to replace a well used aging Siemens. This is a quality bean-to-cup coffee machine that has Wi-Fi connectivity and can make a range of excellent coffee drinks including Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, Coffee, Doppio, Ristretto, Espresso, Espresso Macchiato, Latte Macchiato, Flat White, Milk Foam, Warm Milk and Hot Water. It has two Boilers (one for coffee, one for milk), a large and easy to access Coffee Bean container and an accurate and really, really quiet 'eGrinder' Coffee Bean Grinder. It also has an integrated Automatic Milk Frother which is very easy to use, clean and maintain. Via the large LCD Touch Screen You can select your drink, adjust the quantity, strength, contact time. milk ratio, temperature of drinks, etc and you can save these settings and/or create personalised profiles so each family member can save their preferred drinks. Cleaning and Descaling this machine is mainly automatic, simplicity itself and can be carried out via the Settings Menu on the screen or via the Siemens App. This Siemens App also allows you to switch on and off, control, perform and view many features of the machine from your phone. Please note that this machine can not use Ground Coffee and does not have a Cup Warmer. Whilst there are plenty of adjustments that can be personalised, including brewing temperature, some may find drinks to be not as hot as expected, especially if using thick walled mugs or when making milky drinks. I personally avoid using milk straight from the fridge and leave it out of the fridge for at least 30 mins and I pre-heat mugs and as such, my drinks are always perfect and I would rate my preferred Cappuccino as 10/10. It is important to note that from new, it can take up to 10 cups before the machine produces the 'perfect' drink. The reasons being that it takes a while for the machine to 'settle in' and for the user to select the optimal grinder settings, i.e., strength, contact time, brewing temperature, milk to coffee ratio, etc, so don't be too disappointed if your drink is initially underwhelming. I can assure that this machine WILL produce excellent drinks once you get the settings right and the machine settles in. My final tip is to ALWAYS use GOOD QUALITY and FRESH Coffee Beans (not beans that have been sat on supermarket shelves for months)!
