After getting a replacement battery and sending in the original one it seems the replacement works as intended after 3-4 cycles. Will update if anything happens before the end of my return window. Charged to full and went through the first cycle which seemed to last 10+ hours of play and was amazing. Charged and went through and second and third full cycle like instructed and the battery lasted maybe half as long? Now the controller boots on and will disconnect from the console without warning after a few minutes most of the time. When it doesn’t do that it will last maybe an hour and a half which is barely longer than the OEM battery I replaced. Returning part for replacement and hopefully will have a better experience.

False hope UPDATE.
I will leave my original review below. After getting a replacement battery and sending in the original one it seems the replacement works as intended after 3-4 cycles. Will update if anything happens before the end of my return window. Charged to full and went through the first cycle which seemed to last 10+ hours of play and was amazing.
