No, unless it was a (probably smaller) flask as the bag is quite flat and compact.

Q: what size is the piece?

Vertically it fits a 6.5 inch phone but it's not very deep. I take it with me on dog walks and carry phone, thin card holder (there's a slip pocket), keys, plus a couple of dog baggies and small treats. You could probably also fit phone and thin notebook or passport and cards. It sits comfortably both inside and over a coat or jacket.
