It’s nice. Tons of detail. But…. It’s very small. The hatch does not open nor do the lights work. To be honest, It kinda reminds me of a Christmas decoration.

This little toy meets the descriptions and images shown on the website. The site also states that it is compatible with other Octonaut toys. But no scale is given for is size/dimensions. And there are no Octonaut figures available from the Cobalt store. So, it's hard to identify other brand figures that are size appropriate to this vehicle. On a positive note, the colors and design do seem to match the colors and vehicle shapes shown on the Octonaut cartoon. I'm very excited to have received the toy. It meets my expectations based on the website description. The detail and overall construction are really very good. Even the cockpit area viewable through the bubble is finely done. All the edges match and are flush. There are no sharp or rough surfaces anywhere on my toy. The paint is very smooth, and the colors are rich and deep. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I do wish they had mentioned the appropriate size for optional figures. Something for sale on the website would have been perfect. Perhaps these will come later. And I do wish the bubble opened. If you are a fan of this cartoon and are looking for a collectible item, this is a good one to consider.

I paid almost $30 for this toy because the title of the item indicates it is made of metal. The product description also says it’s made of metal with some plastic parts. Nope. All plastic. It’s not durable plastic either and I can see this breaking if dropped. If it was a heavy duty plastic like a fisher price toy, I wouldn’t mind. But this is not high quality. Also, the pictures show the glass “windows” on the Gup. This has none. The front is just open. And there are no control panels. It has. Peso figure permanently attached. Not at all like the picture or description.

This toy is about 4 inches long, 3 inches tall, and 2 3/4 inches wide. The bottom half is made of thin metal, and top half is plastic. The tail and bottom side fins are thick rubber kind. The bubble tops can't be removed. I could hold this toy in my hand easily for role playing. It's so cute. The color and graphics are really good. It's little pricy but I feel like it will last long time.
