Oven is awful! Turns off randomly during baking!
This oven is just about unusable. We have to do any baking outside on our pellet grill because the oven turns off for no reason almost every time we use it. No alarm, no pattern, just OFF. I rarely write reviews and have a low bar in terms of expectations, but this has been brutal. If we didn’t have a pellet grill option we’d probably have to junk it and replace. Stovetop is great. Appearance is great. Oven basically unusable. If you want a stove that is big, easy to clean, looks great, as long as you don’t mind having NO WORKING OVEN, it is a really great product at a great price. Pretty huge problem though!

Cosmos: Doesn't get much better for the money
Having cooked professionally for the better part of two decades, I've grown a quiet appreciation for ranges that work as they were intended. And for years, I wanted that simple, basic stove that performs like the ones at most restaurants. Well, this is that range. No, you don't get all the bells and whistles: The "air fryer" or the "self-cleaning oven" or "web connectivity" or whatever the latest craze may be. What you do get is five strong burners and a professional convection oven. The beauty in this range is its simplicity. Let's start with the fact that I ordered this two days ago and it is installed and ready to pump out food as we speak. The fact that Amazon got this to me when other large retailers were telling me to wait almost a month just for delivery is glorious in and of itself. The courteous delivery folks arrived exactly on-time --to the minute actually and much to my surprise. And then they helped me strong arm this beauty into my kitchen. I really don't know what's with the reviews showing damaged ovens: This thing was packaged in a manner that it could have been hit by a cruise missile and still wouldn't have a scratch. Installation? If you're paying someone to install this, you're not very good with money. My seven-year-old could have probably put this thing together. The only thing it didn't come with is plumber's tape or compound to ensure the gas connection has no leaks. So put a roll of that in your checkout before you pay. Now onto the good part: Performance. After surviving with a basic 30-inch stove that really only had one hot burner, switching to this range is the equivalent of going from a Yugo to a Ferrari. I feel like the center burner could heat my whole house if need be necessary. The continuous cooktop is equally awesome, meaning you can slide heavy pots from one burner to the other. My one very minor --and I super stress 'minor' --complaint would be the size of the oven. It 'seems' small. But really, what do most people cook? No, you're not gonna be able to roast a water buffalo for your college reunion luau. But if you need to roast a 30-pound turkey? No worries! True convection means the oven heats up quickly and stays hot. Obviously, I can't speak to longevity. But having installed this stove, I really see very little that can go wrong with it. And if something does go wrong? It doesn't appear as though it'd be difficult to repair. At this point, my largest question is why so many folks rate this stove low. Even four stars seems way too low for a 36-inch professional-quality range at this price point. Simply put: If you're thinking about buying this, stop dithering, click buy-it-right-now and be done with it. My painfully long deliberation over this purchase was almost wholly needless. Kudos to Amazon and Cosmos for saving me a lot of time and hassle with other large retailers.

Great looking stove. Good value, but one flaw...
Our previous stove was also a Cosmo. We were reasonably pleased with it and so we are return customers, as the stove dimensions fit our kitchen space perfectly. Upon delivery, there were some noticeable dents on the sides of the oven. The item was packed well, so I suspect this was an issue in shipping. The dents are concealed by the counters, so not a huge worry. Overall, the oven looks great in our space and at half the cost of competitors. It seems to heat reasonably quickly. The burners work very well. The convection option on an all gas range is a nice touch. However, there is one notable flaw. There is no temperature indicator--either analog or digital to tell you a) what temperature the oven is currently at or b) when it has reached your target temperature. Therefore, we've had to purchase an analog oven thermometer to keep in the oven. Other than this minor flaw, we are overall happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others.

New oven damaged/faulty on arrival. Cosmo delays repairs for 7 months. Still unresolved.
DO NOT BUY FROM COSMO. We bought this range seven months ago. We immediately noticed that one of the knobs was askew, another wasn't properly attached, and on further investigation, saw that the valve behind the first knob (and beneath the manifold) was bent—so not damage due to delivery or installation. Add to that, a couple of the burners don’t consistently fire up AND the oven itself shuts off multiple times while heating up. Month 0 We contacted Cosmo right away with photos, videos, and a details about what wasn’t functioning properly. This went on for about 15 emails and a couple of phone calls. Month 1 They wouldn’t verbally acknowledge the bent valve for some reason, but sent us a replacement knob. Obviously the knob didn’t solve the problems we were having. We requested help again and they sent out a third-party technician who told us that they couldn't fixed the bent valve, but could try another knob spring, and that if that didn't work Cosmo would have to replace the oven. The tech said they would return when the spring arrived. Four weeks. No word from the tech. We call the tech. Part hasn't arrived. Cosmo is located about 40 mins from where we live, so we called Cosmo asking where this part was. Cosmo said, "Oh hey! We have one here on site we'll ship it today.” Part doesn’t arrive at the tech for a few more weeks. Month 3 Tech is non-responsive and voicemail box is full. Sure, not Cosmo’s fault. We call Cosmo letting them know we couldn’t get in touch with the tech. They are able to reach the tech and he comes out again. Replaces the knob spring, but it doesn’t resolve any of the issues. Tech says he will talk to Cosmo. Another few weeks go by with no update. Month 4 We ask for an update from Cosmo. They say they still don’t know what the issue is but maybe there is something preventing the oven from detecting that there is gas going to the oven. Month 5 They send out a new tech. The new tech is here for an hour looking at the thing and says he needs to order a part but can't inspect the bent valve because he wants to wait to get the part before opening the manifold. Says he will contact Cosmo and schedule another visit. Month 6 We call the tech back asking where this part is. They say they ordered it 10 days prior and will just go ahead and schedule an appt. for the upcoming weekend. On the day before the appt., they call us canceling, saying that they received the wrong part. Month 7 We call Cosmo once again. We have been polite because we know their customer service isn’t responsible for the defective oven and we just want a resolution. We have been patient because we thought this could be resolved under warranty and we didn't want to return it, giving them the benefit of the doubt. This time we tell them that we no longer wish to wait on another fix—either replace it or take it back and give us a refund. They tell us they cannot consider replacing it until they have exhausted all efforts to fix it. Seven. Months. For a brand new oven that doesn’t work. For an oven that has burners that will not light up on the first try and for an oven that sporadically shuts off when it feels like it. They asked us if we followed the instructions for lighting the burners. We sent them a video of us turning it on. We are beyond done with this company. Their entire customer service process is broken. Their third-party servicers are absolutely the worst technicians we have ever worked with. No communication. Delays upon delays hoping you will just give up. They are completely incompetent, and a worthless brand.
