The ridges are too soft and doesn’t hold the weight of a bottle. So water does not drain out well.

The media could not be loaded.  It definitely works. I can see how it will definitely protect the area around my faucet because I see where a lot of water has been soaking in the base around the faucet.I only gave it four stars because I wish it were a little bit more compact and not so bulky. Otherwise, I think this one is a keeper.

Put this on our sink last week. It only fits ours if the center triangles are facing out and up, otherwise the mat sits crooked.We've noticed a lot more of the splashing from the sink going onto the splash guard, and falling back down into the sink. It's also easy to rest a sponge on the raised channel edges, and have it dry easily.To clean the guard, we're likely going to handwash it, or throw it in the dishwasher. Which is to say, for how clean it keeps the faucet area, it's pretty easy to clean up when it needs it. Definitely a nice addition to our kitchen. But remember to note this is only for faucets that have the hot & cold knobs on the faucet! It will not fit a 3-piece faucet.

It may just be my sink, but a fair amount of this slopes off into the sink and it is not super sturdy silicone so it does not have enough support. As long as we are careful putting the sponges on it and we keep a full soap bottle toward the back it stays put relatively well, but has ended up in the sink if not all precautions are taken. I recently installed a beautiful new kitchen faucet, but I noticed that I was constantly getting water all around the base plate, handle and my counters. I was wiping it up all day! This is a nice solution to keep your counter dry. As you can see, I have a pretty wide faucet, and it fit around it no problem. The back folds up against the backsplash of my counter for a great fit. Looks fine for when I am home, but I would probably not use it if I was having company over, just because obviously it looks nicer to not have it on, but it's a practical solution for every day use and to prevent having to constantly wipe up water. Really happy with this item.

Silicone is thicker, more durable and just a better quality than the cloth and plastic ones. It's a simple product that does what it claims to do. I only wonder why these things don't come with some sort of latch or clip or just fold to keep it from moving expectantly.
