Pentair EC-520554 Salt-Chlorine Generator, Almond

Works great minds after eight years went bad. Had to get a replacement. It was basically plug-in playing and works great.

Necessary but terribly expensive.

Received the product quickly and installed the same day. The unit did not work out of the box after being installed for 5 days. Called customer service and Shabria and Nick were fantastic, got a replacement out the same day Fed-X. I assume the new product will work fine once received. Had to write a review to recognize great customer service. Thanks

For anyone looking at this salt cell, it’s the IC20, not the IC40. Listing is al little misleading with the phot o of the IC40, but no mention of the model number. The box also had the picture of the IC40, but I think that just the same packaging for multiple models. Returned it and bought one locally.

My pool guy came by one day stating that my salt cell wasn’t producing chlorine anymore so it was time for a new one. My old cell was about 5 years old and due for a replacement. Since putting in the new one, my pool is running as it should be!
