CME 36 pc Steel Gauge Block Set, Grade 3, Rectangular Blocks

Nice set for the money. I use them to set saw blade to fence spacing on my table saw. This allows me to use my standard table saw blade to make dado cuts with out having to haul out and set up my dado blade which is time consuming.

First off the case is absolutely terrible. The black label strips are loose, the hinges were not tightened down and it looks like the inside was assembled with super glue. It did come packaged nicely. Wood case wrapped with VCI paper covered with plastic inside of a box shipped inside of another box. Even with the nice packaging a corner of my case is chipped which makes me think it was this way prior to packaging.The blocks all came wrapped with no rust. The lettering seems real thin so I could see it wearing off at some point. It may be lightly etched but it’s so thin it’s hard to tell. The blocks I have used to wring together. The calibration certificate that came with them is dated in 2006. The sticker that shows Grade 0 was placed over top another sticker that said Grade 2. So I’m not sure if the grades are the same or if they just changed the sticker and called it a grade 0.Since the cal certificate says 2006 it’s hard for me to imagine it’s actually real. I think they may just use the same or a few cal certificate for all sets. Since a grade B set would be more accurate than my measuring tools I have no way of knowing how true the stated sizing really is.In conclusion I wish I had bought a different set from a more well known brand so I would have more confidence in the sizing. With the two labels and certificate that was issued when bush was in office it’s just hard to trust.

The gage blocks are very accurate. Would recommend these to anyone

Very good for what you pay. All blocks came wrapped in wax paper and oiled.

Great price point for all us cheap buyers.Accuracy is good enough for what we pay.

Acceptable size low price

Seem to be very high quality, the only down side is the case was damaged on receival but the seller sent me a new one to replace it. They all riem together without any problems and oddly enough ended up being a as-1 grade
