Great bits soo far
So far the bits seem to stay in great condition. I mainly use 5 and 6mm bits and have to say that a standard bit would have started to dull by now whereas this is still going strong. My only issue is with the dispenser holes in the top where bits easily fall out.

A box worth the price
Remember the Christmas presents when the box gave more pleasure than the contents -I bought this for the circular case. I had been looking for the circular case for a long time. It somehow persuades me to put the bits back after use, so they have lasted longer than other drill bits: I'm no longer losing bits. The bits are OK and cheaper than buying similar in a high street DIY.

Probably as good as you’ll get today!
A good set of Imperial drills which are getting difficult to obtain but losing one star because they aren’t made in Sheffield where all good tools were made.

Dormer Qualty
Now Dormer is a name I remember from the 60's These are made in Brazil and seem pretty good so far. They are even supplied in the same very handy dispenser that my old set had. But are thay as good as the Sheffield made drills that I remember so well? I will let you know if I have any problems.

Best drill bits to be had by far
Best drill bits to be had by far. I've put these through 10mm steel in a hand 18v drill and they have no problem doing the job, just use cutting fluid so they stay sharp !

Back on Christmas day of 2008, I bought some Dormer brand drills I had found listed on Craigslist. Not being familiar with the Dormer brand, I thought I would give them a try since the price seemed fair. The individual selling them had four different sizes available so I bought one pack each of the largest and smallest sizes he had. I've tried many brands over the years and had almost given up hope of ever finding a good brand of drills. That was almost four years ago and I can honestly say today that the Dormer drills are the best I've ever bought. I've only used one drill out of each pack and they are as sharp today as when I bought them. I've drilled at least 50 holes with each drill in materials ranging from hardened steel to copper to aluminum to plastic and still haven't managed to dull either bit. So, when the time came that I needed a set of wire gauge drills, I looked at several brands and finally decided to go with a brand I trust. I was not disappointed. This set is of the same high quality as the Dormer drills I had purchased in 2008. If you doubt the quality standards of the Dormer brand, just do a Google search and check them out for yourself. Also, the storage case is very well designed. It's designed in such a way as to allow only one drill at a time to be removed from the case. There's nothing quite as frustrating as accidentally dropping a bunch of drills this small and then trying to find them. The unique design of this case eliminates that potential problem.

Great bits but what u don’t know is that this item comes with duty tax that nobody tells u about which make this product cost double of what u can buy it off shelf for

This set is made in Brasil, which was a disappointment as several other brands are now making bit sets back in the US again. The easiest way to tell the country of origin on the Dormer sets from what I've gathered now is whether the case is made of plastic or metal, where the metal cases seem to be American made. I don't agree that the case is sturdy, as it's 100% plastic and I'm sure the plastic links used as hinges will break sooner than later. It does the job as long as you baby it. Regardless of my two complaints, the bits themselves seem fine and the extra four bits for very common sizes that I use for tapping is definitely a plus and was the reason for purchase. Feel free to ask any specific questions you might have.
