I'm sorry that I can't answer your specific question about size because these were a gift for my grandson. I can tell you that he absolutely loves them and used them all the time. He was four when I gave them to him and they are just right for that summer. I don't think he'll be able to wear them again, but two year old brother will.

My daughter is 4 and wears a size 10. I read comments that boy size 10 couldn't get his foot in these (size 8-11) so wondering if we should size up?

Bought these recently for my grandson who is also 4 and wears size 11 shoes. They are snug but need to be to stay on. Lots of give to them and they go on easier when wet. They also seem to go on easier after a few wears so perhaps they stretch out a bit but maybe I am just getting better at putting them on him. He loves them and they are great quality and size.
