just what I needed
The wife caught the kitchen on fire a few years ago and the flames damaged the microwave handle above the stove. A simple plastic handle necessitated the replacement of the entire door and which was more than a new unit. Since the thing still worked OK we decided to trudge along. I purchased this tape to wrap the door handle and it works great. It covered the damage and looks like it belongs.

Strong and flexible sealing tape
I used this tape to seal the joints on an antenna and also used it to seal coax connectors outdoors. This stretches very well and sticks to itself nicely. It does not have a sticky adhesive, but rather a static like fusion that fuses together when it makes contact with itself.

Good value
& Hope time will tell if the weathering is good...

I love this stuff
I use this stuff all over the place. It's just like that "Magic Repair Tape" that used to be sold on TV. Sticks to itself, but doesn't leave a residue on anything else. Stretchy to fit shapes, etc., and holds on very tight when stuck to itself.Get some!

Tape adhesion for metal and plastic was lacking
The adhesion between plastic and metal in my application was low. I was able to get a stronger bond using regular duct tape. There maybe other applications where it may work well but fell short for me.

Crossing my fingers!!
Ended up with the dreaded vaccum error on our freeze dryer and trying to track down the leak is super difficult. Bought the tape so we could wrap our hoses.. also bought silicone to seal up what we could. It will be impossible to know if this fixed because of so many variables. Like the tape and glad we picked this brand.

Works well for auto repairs
I assume you can find many other uses for this silicon tape. I use it when doing my own auto repairs and it works well. Finish it off with good quality electrical tape, I use 3M
