My new favorite pen
I was introduced to this pen by the Hobonochi community. These write amazingly well on Tomoe River paper- but they are also so smooth on all papers. It’s so handy and well-engineered, and switching colors is so easy and quick. It even has a pencil! It is a little bulkier than I’m used to but I actually like the girth.I didn't know what the difference between this and the regular 0.5 jetstream was. After using and comparing both, I would say this one is slightly (EVER SO SLIGHTLY) thicker, and definitely more pigmented. I like this better.I also like that this set comes with refills.

Hands down best multipen out there - nothing has it beat
Okay, so first of all, you're probably thinking: $13 for a pen and some refills? It's just a pen, why should I spend money on it?I've got just the answers for you. This pen, without a doubt, is the best multi pen on the market. If you are a student college like me, you know how important it is to be able to QUICKLY color code your lecture notes. Those professors have no mercy and go incredibly fast so you need a reliable but still decent pen.The ink of this pen is not gel; in fact, it is ballpoint but it feels incredibly smooth for a ballpoint pen. There is little to no friction when you write on paper and the ink glides. The ink is a bit on the thinner side, but it rarely smudges. In fact, I haven't notice it smudge at all unless I've applied 3-4 layers of highlighter (cause you know, I suck at highlighting and I need more help on that but this isn't what this review is about). The non-black colors that come with this pen are a nice standard shade; I will be attaching photos later so check them out.The ink lasts quite a while too. I write ALL the time with this. Like ALL the time. This is my go to pen. I write in lecture, for homework, for math problems, for chemistry problems, in my sleep, hell I even SKETCH with the black ink on this pen too. I bought this pen is late December and had to replace the black ink probably mid-February. The other colors as of the date of this review are still going strong. The barrel quality is outstanding as well. Even though the 3/4 of the barrel is plastic, it has a nice matte finish and feels very premium in your hand. The other 1/4 is some kind of metal, but I'm not metal expert. All I know is that this pen feels super good to hold. Unlike the Zebra Sarasa, it does not feel cheaply made, like I bought it at the $1 section at Target. In addition, the individual color tabs have never gotten stuck either. They glide smoothly as they write so I am very happy with this product.Perhaps at the end of my review, you're still thinking "Okay, but it's still $13. That's too much and I'm still not gonna get it." Good for you, it's still $13 and my review isn't going to change that. You're gonna be missing out on one hell of a pen, though.

Best ballpoint, naturally flowing pen ever: great weight distribution and elegant look.
So I'm a pen enthusiast - for affordable quality pens, that is. The right pen has to feel effortless in your hand, give you the right weight throughout the writing tool that you're not working too hard to hold it in place. The right pen should have little resistance when you put the tip onto paper and start to write. It should flow but not bleed out. It should be precise and not skip/stutter. It should be a solid shape and diameter that fits into your hand perfectly, whether you have small hands (like mine) or large hands. Finally it should look professional like a pen you would use when writing down your class notes, work meeting notes, hospital/clinical notes. These are the attributes of the perfect pen. This pen is it.Worth every penny. The problem with many multicolor pens is that the body is cheaply made and it is awkward to switch colors quickly and seamlessly. This pen however is so effortless in its color switching. I don't know how to describe it but as music to my ears.

The only pen I've used for a solid two years. UPDATE 5 years!
Update August 2021: Still very much obsessed with this pen. It's been 5 years since I discovered it and I've bought several more because I must have one wherever I am! The original one I bought in 2016 is still working great, though. What are you waiting for? Buy this pen already!Original review: I adore this pen. I bring it with me everywhere. I panic if I lose sight of it for even a few minutes. I don't let other people use this pen because I WILL NOT lose it! I have used it almost exclusively for two years while I've been in nursing school. As fellow nurses know, multicolored pens are SO useful in the clinical setting. However, we also have to fit tons of patient information on one tiny piece of 8.5 x 11 paper, and the best way to do this is with this precise, fine tip pen. My only gripe is how tiny the refills are, and I find myself having to use other pens when the barrels run dry and I don't have refills on hand (gasp!). Seriously, I bought pens left and right in search for the best pen, and this is it, folks. I happily fork over the money for the refills because I. LOVE. THIS. PEN.For my lefty buddies out there, since this is a ballpoint pen, it DOES NOT SMUDGE! HALLELUJAH! What smooth writing though. It may as well be a gel pen for how well it writes!

Great multi pen at a great price.
Huge upgrade from the cheaper multi pens that I'm used to. My school decided it was a good idea to hand out cheapo multi pens to every student without considering the super annoying incessant clicking that would follow every time someone switched colors. This pen is practically inaudible, switching colors is a breeze, and having a pencil in addition to the ink is very convenient. The pen is very comfortable to hold, has a nice weight to it, and feels well built. The writing experience is superb. This particular package is excellent because of the ink refills. You're getting a great pen with refills at a discount. What's not to like?

Awesome purchase and great pen!
Great pen, writes so clean and smooth. No problems with refills. The only problem is that switching between colors makes such a loud click noise that,-it wouldn't be viable to use in a quiet office setting or at school.
