I've tried quite a few USB 3 drives claiming great speeds recently and most have been poor. The Samsung Bar Plus is the best by far however it is more than twice as expensive as this Verbatim V3 Store n Go 128gb which I managed to get from amazon for around a tenner. The look and feel of the drive is good, it is about 2 inches long and narrow enough to only take up one USB port so you can plug something in next to it with no problems. It has a slide out USB port that slides out smoothly, doesnt get stuck and is secure when you plug it into your PC.Speed wise it is actually pretty good and given the price I think it deserves 5 stars. Its way ahead of any other Verbatim drive (the pinstripe sucks) and well ahead of anything by Kingston or Toshiba.I recommend it highly. Read speeds are around 80mps and write speeds are 37-50mbps - see screen print of CrystalDiskMark results attached to this review.For a tenner its good value but for £25 the Samsung Bar Plus is about 50% faster.

Very good price, works well without problems, but the speed is not fast enough, that's why i give 3 stars. In usb2 interface the write speed is 8MB/sec and the read speed is 26MB/sec. I expecting to be more fast devise than this, but for that price it seems to be ok.Im coming back to continue this review, i have test it in usb 3 interface and seems going very fast as suppose to be. The write speed is 20MB/sec and the read speed is 75 MB/sec average. I will change my rate to 5 stars because i believe it worth it. Thanks for the comments!!!

Amazing price for the storage. Seems fast and being used every day it has proven reliable too. Only downside is that although there is a hole through the sliding section to attach a key chain, there is only room for a tiny circular link which isn't included so you have to track down one of your own. Personally I think these things should always have an easy key chain attachment.

After much research on the subject the Verbatim offered the best value at the time even cheaper than it's eBay equivalents. USB 3.0 and backward compatibility with USB 2.0 means it will work on anyone's p.c. I have had zero issues with this device and a solid latching system makes it easy to use and keep protected whilst carrying around. It does not come with a lanyard so i'll have to make one, but that's no problem. A good value device, swift delivery and a pleasure to use.

Verbatim V3 Store N Go - USB Stick - 256 GB - USB 3.0I purchased this item on 30 Jul 15 from Amazon and have only actually used it around 6 to 8 times since then. It has since completely stopped working, nothing shows up when inserted into any pc, I have used the Disk management in Windows to see it, and still it is not visible, and there is no dust in it.As it is after 31Aug15 I cannot return it to Amazon for a refund or replacement. Also, there is personal data on it so I do not want to send it anyway.If anyone has an alternative solution to try and resurrect this usb device, I would be very grateful to hear from them.

It is in constant use since i bought it and is very reliable (that's what I'm expecting from Verbatim). Maybe doesn't look fantastic but it is sturdy as typical workhorse should be. You may consider re-formatting it to NTFS (as I did) to carry files bigger than 4GB. Procedures are easy to find on the Web.Never tested write speed but now I remember which USB slots on my computer are 3.0/2.0 and can tell you: it does make a difference.

I wanted a few of these to load music I can plug into my car stereo. Works perfectly for that purpose. I can easily swap USB drives for a different music mix.
