I love this particular chalkboard. It has a vintage shabby chic design to it. The wood is stained and the condition is perfect. It’s not too big it hangs nicely on my kitchen wall. It doesn’t have overwhelming presence and blends nicely with almost any decor. Yet it’s not too small that it will go unnoticed making it easy to create a nice design with a message that can be seen included. I also use it on my counter top or table in the same manner as well and I love it! I love the chalkboard texture. It allows you to create beautiful smooth strokes for calligraphy “lettering” designer messages with chalk or chalk pens. Removal is also a breeze no residue like some other chalkboards I’ve tried. It is exactly what I was looking for the size and design is perfect. It looks just like the picture. If your looking for something like this to “work” for you or “play” with this is the one.

I bought this for the kids to hold for pictures on special days (back to school, lost a tooth, etc.) and it has worked great. It's the perfect size to fit what I want to say and still easy for the kids to hold comfortably. I like being able to use both sides (different things for each kid, different info for scrapbook vs social media, etc.). Every once in a while I have to use a little vinegar to get it really clean. I would recommend this product.

Well made and big enough to personalize it. I bought for my daughter's first day of school . However, I utilized it for her birthday as well. For any occasion it can be used and always looks lovely. I got some chalk markers with it which makes it easy to write on and what gives it the extra touch. A purchase I would always do again!

It's nice amd seems sturdy. However instead of putting the hangers on top, they are on one side. Thus making one side very inconvienient to use. Hangers on top edge would make it truely reversable.

It does the job well. What else can you say about a chalkboard? It is indeed magnetic, it indeed can be written on with chalk or chalk paint markers (that’s what I use), easy to wipe off...that about covers it. I think I’ll keep him.😉 Apologies for the sideways pic, but you get the idea! Oh yeah, on the other side I have written “Today is a good day for a good day.” I’m just too lazy to get up right now and take a pic of it.

Quality is great and they are double sided (which I didn’t realized when I purchased them). I used these as signs to hold for a photo booth, so the fact that they were double sided allowed me to make more signs for people to choose from and they looked really good!

We love this chalkboard! I ordered two as school slates for my two homeschoolers to practice their letters on. They write very smoothly with traditional chalk and clean very well. They are well made and the frame was thicker than I expected.

The actual size of the chalkboard (black usable area) is only 8x12, just so you know what size you are actually getting. I bought 3, one came with the wooden frame broken, and had to repair. The “wood” is cheap, color wipes off on wet paper towel. The sticky stuff they use to attach their label to the board leaves a residue that is very noticeable that I have not been able to get off. The back also comes with hanging brackets already attached. Overall looks tacky.

I'm very forgetful. This can cause tension in a relationship, but this thing is a saving grace. Never forget things again! Coupled with chalk I now actually do things I'm supposed to do. Revelation.

As described, fast delivery

I received the chalkboard today and was looking forward to using it. When I unpacked it, I noticed the frame is very unfinished and not at all like the seller’s image. It has not even been sanded properly, and you can catch your clothing or skin on the tiny bits of frayed wood on the inside frame. It is also not a painted frame, it is cheap looking bare wood. When I wrote on it for the first time, doing some lettering using Crayola chalk, it looked OK. BUT when I dusted it off, using the Crayola duster, I found scratch marks left behind. So I then dampened a soft cloth and cleaned the board again, with no success. To my horror, on closer inspection the scratch marks from my chalk, where I pressed a little harder during my lettering process, were indented right through the chalkboard to the underlying surface. The actual chalkboard layer must be extremely fine to have that happen. I would say purchase this item at your own risk - and make sure you only use delicate touches on it, or don’t use chalk on it (which kind of defeats the purpose of having a chalkboard). I guess if I want to use this chalkboard, I will need to try to fix it myself, by buying chalkboard paint, putting a few coats on it, buying sandpaper and paint to fix up the frame. Really disappointing.
