How hard is it to clip these on and off since Some are very tight and need more effort?

The metal clips aren’t as thick and robust as the ones you can buy in dunhelm with the orange seal, if that makes sense. I’d say on a scale if 1-5 I’d give their strength a 3 Hope that helps

How much liquid would these jars hold?

My jars are full of dried ingredients so I will hazard a guess at at least 500 ml if that helps. Great jars, I’ve had them for ages and the clips are still strong.

Are these suitable for candle making?

I don’t make candles so I cannot be sure the glass is high enough quality to take hot wax without cracking or the heat from the flame. They seem quite sturdy, but they are not actual Kilner jars, just the same style.

are these suitable for salad/noodle lunches?

I guess so... they are pretty versatile storage, lights, bath salts. So I guess you could try. I have seen some videos on social media using something similar for a salad/ noddle mix.
