Well written book. Helps with life goal planning
This is a great book for anyone who would like to begin life planning goals not just goals on the daily to do list. The exercises and examples illustrated are a great start to setting your goal paths for years to come.

A workable approach to setting up your life for a productive career
The usual concepts of time management have never been successful for me. They create an inner environment of rebellion that gets in the way of my productivity. This method of planning for productivity seems to be workable for me.

Great Guide
Easy, simple but powerful. I use this with executive teams to build a view of the journey they need to embark on to deliver their aspirations both in their work and personal lives.

LOVE IT - changed my life.
A consolidation of lots of different schools of self-help tools e.g. using Covey's time management model, incorporating your values in goal setting, and finding balance through having a holistic view of different roles of each of our lives.

LOVE this book!
I am a self-confessed self-help junkie and have read a good majority of the books out there on the market. I think this is one of the best. It is extremely practical and helps you achieve tangible goals.I do this at the beginning of every year. Absolutely recommend.

What was that on the cover?
I’ve given 3 stars because of the condition of the book - it had congealed food or drink on the front cover which was disappointing. Some of pages were creased in on themselves. I would have thought that whoever packaged this might have noticed and corrected it before sending. I don’t expect pre-loved books to be in perfect condition but I don’t expect to have clean it beforehand either. On the other hand, delivery was prompt. Just please check the book carefully before sending!

Motivating and encouraging
I bought this book due to it being a recommended read on my Life Coaching course. I found it to be encouraging and inspiring with new methods and a good system of application.Having read lots of motivational text there were some similarities with other, the overall message to believe in yourself and take control of your future.I really enjoyed working through the text and I will be referencing it in my dissertation.Great read!

Pragamatic and inspiring
Quick to read - the claim of taking 3 hours is accurate IF you head straight into working through the questions. If you decide to read the chapters and tackle the questions as you go along, it may take 6-10 hours. But still not a big ask if you want to have a better year. What would have needed to be different for me to award 5 stars? While the chapter on obstacles and limitations may be useful to those who like to problem solve, I prefer to solution build. I'd like to have seen an extra chapter with questions about what opportunities and possibilities lie ahead in the year / time period, especially the naturally occurring resources so many of us tend to overlook or trivialise. Questions like "what can you use that is already around you, which up to now you've ignored? Ditto for who might you connect with to help yourself in the coming year. That said, this is far away the best book I have read on this topic so far. It also steers clear of dreary self-help hypothesising and trying to give you a mental rinse. Enjoy and recomend to anyone who needs a pragmatic path to follow to increase their hope that they can influence the time ahead despite perhaps difficult or bleak looking circumstances. This book offers hope that is practical and do-able.

A little me time
I was given this book for my birthday and as a busy working mum I found it very pleasantly indulgent. Yes, it says take 3 hours, but I could never find 3 uninterrupted hours so I did it in bed for half an hour last thing, at the hairdressers etc. It allowed me to get off the hamster wheel and think about me and what I want to do and achieve. Dipping in and out of it did not affect the result and prolonged what I found to be a pleasant experience.I still got the result I wanted. The "What is limiting me?" question has relased me from what was and I am happier now than before. I am on Amazon to buy a copy for a friend.

Not the best self-help book ever!!!!
The author says you can miss out parts 1 and 2 and go straight to part 3!! Good advice as there's nothing much to get excited about until the goals- setting Q's Did help me set some goals but didn't wade through every Q!!!! Don't see anything unusual about this book!!!!
