Works as described and easy to fit on the chimney ~ all smoke up the chimney and not in the room.

The quality is generally very good but the item as delivered is missing one of the four fixing hooks, which means that I am going to have to fix it using the external strap fixing kit. Two of the four fixing hooks were actually screwed to the cowl (which is how they should sensibly be), one was just loose in the box and the fourth one was missing!

Item received in double quick time and fixed to chimney in approx. 10 minutes. It looks very smart and so far is doing the job it was made for. Thoroughly recommended.

Works well. Solved the problem we had with our log burner belching smoke into the room as it cooled down.

Easy to fit

I read the reviews of this cowl, it looked promising on paper. Alas it doesn't do what it promises. In spite fitting my new cowl the pilot light on the gas fire keeps blowing out due to the draught down the chimney. Regrettably it will have to go back which means hiring ladders and additional costs.
