Q: Does this item include the pcb board or is it just the plastic cover?

It contains the PCB board within the plastic cover. You will need to unsolder the wires from the existing PCBand re-solder them back on to the new PCB. Keep a diagram what wire connected to where before you un-solder the existing PCB so that you will have no doubt as what to connect to where when you are re-soldering the new one into place.A bit finicky but take it easy and use a small table or something similar on top of the cooker so that you can place the PCBscomfortably on it(build it up to the required working height with a small box magazines or whatever). You will need both hands to do a proper job with the soldering. I am happy with the one I installed. Good Luck.

Q: What particular problem did this new pcb fix for you? The lights on my cooker hood don't work, but everything else does!

Old Pcb blew the supply fuse & you can open the pcb black box & check for burnt sections of track. If there is a problem with the lights not coming on it may only be that switch that is faulty? New pcb works a treat you have to solder this into existing wiring though, Regards
