KEENWomen's Revel IV High Polar Boot

I bought the Revel 4 Mid Calf Polar Insulated Snow Boots in Vetiver/Peachy Keen on December 30, 2022. Since then, I’ve worn them quite a few times on snowy, muddy, and dry trails. They provide good traction, and good support for my flat feet and my ankles. I can’t speak to rugged, long distance hiking, but for moderate hiking on semi-rough ground, they are excellent. They look heavy but they’re surprisingly light. They’re toasty warm too. I usually wear anywhere from a size 9 to a 10 in a regular shoe, depending on the brand and style. Because I prefer a roomy toe box, and I wanted to wear thick wool socks, I ordered a size 10. There’s plenty of room without feeling sloppy. I like these snow boots so much I’m going to buy the Keen Targhee 2 Mid Height for summer. Happy hiking!

I normally a size 8.5, but ordered the size 9 and the fit perfectly!So comfortable with regular socks AND Smartwool or Darn Tough socks. I love that they're not too bulky for winter boots either. I can even wear them with boot cut jeans! I just wore them (along with Smartwool socks) on a 30 minute dog walk in 26° weather and my feet were toasty! My feet are usually freezing in anything below 55°.Solid purchase! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!UPDATE: I've made these my go-to boots for the winter. Comfortable on short 5 mile hikes, playing in the snow with my energetic dog, AND I was happy to find out how comfortable these boots turned out to be on a 26+ mile bicycle ride I took this week!The laces do tend to untie themselves even with double tying, but I solved that issue by simply hooking the "bow" of the lace to the top hook (clasp? 🤷‍♀️) and pulled them snug. Hasn't been an issue since. And that's without the need to double tie them!As for the stiffness up the shin...I plant my feet on the floor and lean my legs forward before tightening the laces to accommodate my mobility for walking uphill, pedaling, etc.After about 4 months, they still feel & fit perfectly!

These boots had a good fit right out of the box. Ordered my regular size, but they allow for a thicker sock. They are warm--wore them on my 2 mile walk this morning when it was 2°F and my feet were toasty warm. Only gave them a 4 rating as I don't know how they would be if one was standing or sitting for a period of time. Also, they seem to be well made, but time will tell on durability.

I live in the snow, feet of snow, these are the most comfortable, warm and dry boots I have ever known. Best purchase of my life. I went 1/2 larger to accommodate for thick socks. They are easy to drive in as well. Not too bulky.

I ended up returning as I ordered the wrong size for myself and ended ip buying another style from the same brand. These looked very well made and I appreciate the extra toe room of this brand.

I wore these multiple times during winter hiking with snowshoes and crampons. They run a little small so I got a 9 instead of an 8 1/2 and used 2 pair of socks. They are definitely waterproof, sturdy and comfortable.

Nice boots, but will not keep your feet warm and dry

WARNING: there is so much insulation padding in these boots that you'll want to order a LARGER SIZE! Especially if you're used to wearing Smart Wool socks.

Köpte skorna en störek större som jag brukar gör i vinterskor. Men i det här fallet är det väldig onödigt. Om man ta sin vanligt storlek har man ändå tillräckligt plats för tårarna. Toppen!

Zunächst etwas zur Größe. Habe den Stiefel wegen des Hinweises, er fällt kleiner aus, eine halbe Nummer größer bestellt, was vollkommen unnötig war. Trage 38,5 in allen Keen-schuhen und habe den Stiefel deshalb umgetauscht. Passt perfekt, sogar mit richtig dicken Socken. Ich komme gerade von Island zurück, wo der Stiefel bei 13° unter 0 auch über längere Zeit ausreichen warm und trocken war. Selbst nach 10 Stunden am Fuß herrscht ein angenehmes Klima im Schuh. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Eben Keen!!!

Comprado un nùmero más del que suelo usar normalmente y probadas en Noruega estos días pasados..... Geniales!!Pros:- calentitas: por la noche les he puesto una plantilla térmica, pero casi que no hacia falta. He llevado un calcetín tirando a gordito, pero no los que tengo para frío extremo, ya que las botas en sí son muy calientes-- buena tracción: tienen buen agarre en hielo, pero no hay que esperar que sea como llevar crampones, ehe. En placas grandes de hielo sí me los he puesto.- waterproof: me he metido varias veces en nieve profunda (hasta más arriba de la rodilla), y las botas han aguantado perfectamente sin calar ni tener frio. Dos veces una ola de mar me mojó completamente los pies, pero permanecieron perfectamente secos.Cons:- son un poco tocho (pero te acostumbras)- no son tan rápidas de abrochar como otras (pero no me importa por el buen resultado que dan).En resumen: botas altamente recomendables para estar comodamente paseando por la nieve o parada encima de ella si estás fotografiando auroras boreales!!

They are so light and comfortable!Waterproof, really warm, and look great.

These boots are very comfortable and don’t bother my bunion due to the wide toe box. Having the space to move my toes freely allows for warmth. Love these Keens!
