These carbide inserts are a blessing to newbies to wood turning like myself. They aren't expensive, last a long time, and do a great job. Love mine!

Cut great at a great price.My only complaint is they are not numbered.Not a necessity but it sure makes it easier to keep track of the edges that you have used.

do not buy!!
Bought these after seeing the reviews and thought I would give them a try! 4.5 rating? First of I had a square shatter mid turn, keep in mind it was not chattering it was on my tool correctly, and was being used properly! Lucky for me I had a face shield and safety glasses on! Next they do not stay sharp long like other brands! I got them in and barely used one and I already have completely rotated it and all sides are dull! I will not recommend this at this time!
