So, I purchased this assuming it was similar to wooble yarn. It's not, it's better! I purchased a 5mm hook and my project turned out bigger but way better!! Same pattern and everything! Larger hook will help everything and the product description talks about it, I love this yarn!! I did need to purchase more, yey only due to the size of my project! It's coming out larger but SO CUTE!! It's and amigurumi from an incredible book by Rikki Gustafson!! A Crochet World!!! Good luck friends!!

I love this yarn and the tee shirtish look. My only complaint is that it comes with lengths knotted together and those knots are hard to blend.

This yarn is easy to work with, but larger than Wooble yarn. It came in the exact color I needed (Espeon purple), but my amigurumi came out almost twice the size I was hoping for. I didn't have enough yarn to do the ear whiskers per my pattern (from 53 stitches), but I had just enough to fudge them. It did have a knot in the middle, but it came in a spot where I could work it in. Not a terrible yarn, not a great yarn. If you are learning and don't have a certain size critter in mind, this stuff will work for you.

Did not like the stiffness or thickness of this yarn. Made my project a lot harder to crochet and the end result was a lot bigger. Will not buy again

This “yarn” is lovely to work with. It’s very soft and it’s great to use making potholders because it’s 100% cotton.

I needed gray yarn for a project and thought this would be similar to some other skeins I purchased, but it was not. The yarn was much thicker and harsher (not soft) than I anticipated. It worked for the projects I had, but I would not get it again. It wasn't fun to handle or soft.

As others said it's much bigger ply. It's also oddly stiff, so if you want to make something cozy and cuddly, this is not the yarn for that. It's reasonable for beginners since it won't split, but it does have random knots and frayed bits that will probably be frustrating if you are trying to make something and don't know how to blend the end in. Sadly I bought 2 of these, and it's totally not worth it value wise.Ugh. Updating review to share a picture of the quality of the frayed thread. I bought 2 skeins of purple (white and blue) and the purples are completely different colors as well. I'd recommend avoiding this completely.

Love the feel and texture of this material. It’s gonna be expensive for my first crochet project, but It will be my new weighted blanket.Makes a plush blanket or maybe a rug? Either way love this material.
