Advanced masking and compositing techniques in the final section are particularly valuable, making the creation of complex montages a breeze. The key features mentioned in the description truly stand out – from creating captivating visuals for various mediums to managing digital projectsEven as a 3D artist I found this book extremely helpful. While the learning style is great, it might be helpful to have some existing photoshop knowledge.

I was pretty impressed, going through this book. I've used Photoshop for several years at this point and wanted to test my knowledge. While I knew most of it, it was due to hundreds of hours of YouTube academy. This book would have cut that time significantly if I had read it a few years ago!That said, it does have a few parts that are slightly out of date, but it's inevitable due to the amount of improvements Adobe has been adding recently. 95% of the features will remain relevant well into the future, making this a very valuable book to have handy! I love the index in the back, which makes it easy to look up different topics when I need to look up how to do a particular function! I already used it to remind me how to use the perspective tool!

I recently received a copy of Mastering Adobe Photoshop 2024 from Packt Publishing to review and was very happy with what I saw. To be clear, this book is not designed to introduce new Photoshop users to the basics of the application, one needs to have at least some understanding of the software to benefit from the information in this text. But, even with just a little basic knowledge, this book can really help you extend your skillset.Gary Bradley begins by introducing the reader to Photoshop's newest features before explaining how to set up the software to get the most out of it. He then spends the rest of the book focusing on several sets of tools and techniques and provides the reader with a series of step-by-step instructions to follow while using the provided files, should you choose to download them.Overall, if you are looking for somewhat more advanced image editing techniques, you will find a lot of options in this book. Bradley covers everything from the more advanced non-destructive methods for fixing/altering images to preparing those images for print or use on social media platforms along with creating surreal artwork. There is something for everyone interested in improving their skills in this book. I would recommend it for anyone looking to up their game!
