I am very happy with this drone and its overall performance. I’ve used it in many countries around the world, and it has always delivered. It’s very easy to carry in its case, simple to take off, and reliable when returning to home. One important thing to consider is battery life. For my use, three batteries were not enough, and I ended up buying two additional ones. I also paired it with an ND filter to reduce light in very bright conditions, which made a noticeable difference in image quality. It’s important to understand what kind of drone this is. It’s not designed for flying in tight spaces or indoors. It’s much better suited for sightseeing, nature shots, and high-altitude views. The drone is extremely stable, even in strong wind, and the signal remains solid at distances beyond three kilometers, as long as there are no obstacles. Overall, I’ve used this drone in seven different countries over the past two years, and it has consistently met my expectations. Highly recommended for travelers and outdoor photography enthusiasts.

Excellent value drone kit. The DJI Mini 4 Pro is an excellent piece of equipment, and very easy to fly. Everything needed to get in the air is in this kit, it has a small carrying case, but a bigger one is nice. The Camera is excellent, the video quality is superb. A lot of fun to fly, and a good investment!

One of the best drones you can get without a 107, only being defeated by the mini 5 pro. Great image quality. Sensors helped save me from many tree branches. Battery is a bit short, I get 20-ish minutes on most full charges. Propeller change is easy. Pretty compact, not the smallest but still good. Overall a good experience.

Everything about this drone is just as advertised. Quality drone and easy to use for any beginner or skilled user. Photo and video quality is really good.

This is a supremely excellent drone. It can do just about anything that an amateur and many videographers would want. The camera is so excellent, there is merit to holding it in hand and using it as a camera. The fact that its’s a drone makes it easy for you to be included in your group photos. I suggest getting the PLUS batteries and strobe lights. These (anything extra) brings the total weight to over 250g but that’s no big deal. Pay $5 and register it. Nothing else is needed. Don’t forget to obtain your TRUST mandatory license.

I've flown all manner of drones, including several DJI drones. This is by far the best, even better than the more expensive ones. It's marketed for "beginners" but that's only to get people to spend money on other "high end" drones so they can say they have a "professional" drone. If you're unable to take professional videos with this drone you are not a professional. I wish people didn't believe the marketing. This drone IS good for beginners, since it does have obstacle sensing in all directions. However it is capable of VERY good quality video and images. It has advanced flight features and just as many options as some of the drones twice or three times the price. I got the Fly More Kit with Plus batteries, I can comfortably fly an hour while recording 4k (on three batteries). I would encourage anyone to purchase this drone. I haven't really put its range to the test, but I've taken it close to the batteries range. I've flown it out a little over 4 miles away and didn't lose a single bar of signal strength. I flew it back and still landed with 30% battery. I also took a 4k recording the whole trip to see how that would affect the battery but I had plenty left on landing. If you do buy it, here's my suggestion, buy the Fly More kit, you'll be disappointed when your battery is drained because it's so fun to fly. See if you can get it on payments if the price is a bit out of your range for a lump sum purchase. I also bought insurance (YOU HAVE ONLY 48 HOURS ONCE THE DRONE IS POWERED ON TO BUY INSURANCE), I bought 2-year coverage, which includes water damage or flyaways, keep in mind that if the drone is lost it will cost you about $235 and they will send you a brand new one. I also bought 1 extra battery, since the case holds 3 and the drone holds 1, so I have 4 in total, with the extra battery I can fly for 1hour and 40minutes. This is not a BEGINNER drone, it is GOOD for beginners because of the obstacle avoidance. The only down side is that it feels a little plasticy, AKA cheap. However when you fly it, it's anything but. It handles wind very well for its size. Don't expect to fly in major wind though, use your best judgement.

Dangerous battery flaw, Retaining tabs on batteries are breaking off after only a few insertions. I noticed a battery seemed loose in the drone and after placing it in the DJI 3 port charger I noticed a retention tab was not coming back out. It was cracked, it broke off placing it back in the drone to get a cycle count (how many times it has been used.) That insertion made it cycle number 19, half of the previous insertions were just to get the endless updates they have had the last few months. The other tab is cracked and will break off next insertion, this will allow the batteries to fall out in flight causing a dangerous and potentially fatal scenario. I went online to find this was a common issue and happening far to often to some people I contacted DJI, They will do nothing, the battery and drone has only a 15 day warranty. So you can figure it will cost you about $5 per insertion to own these junk batteries. The problem is the paper thin, brittle cheap plastic they are using to try to reduce weight, same with the drone, it is made with such a thin plastic if feels like it is cracking when you simply hold it. I replaced a Mini 3 with this drone, the Mini 3 felt and flew far batter than this Mini 4 Pro, this is jittery and jumpy in the air. It holds well in the air and the stabilization is great but this jumpiness in air is going to help throw these batteries with the breaking tabs out of the drone. We should not have to use tape to hold a battery in a $1200 drone after only a few flights. I should have stuck with a far cheaper drone, I was conned into the brand name equals quality scenario again and DJI has proven that a brand name and does not equal quality and you certainly do not always get what you pay for. They have some quality products to be sure, but I think they have reached the quality limit keeping it under the weight 250G limit. I can't imagine how far the Mini 5 quality will fall. Besides this tab problem these batteries will only last about half of the stated flight time in normal conditions. Also as stated above and by many others the drone is made of a very thin plastic to keep it under weight. like the battery, the drone quality is suffering greatly trying to keep it under the legal weight, this is the same reason the batteries are short lived. If they were posting honest battery flight times they would not sell many of these. Please do a web search for these issues to verify my claims.

Alles dabei, was man braucht. Gerade mit der RC 2 Fernbedienung (mit Display) mega angenehm - kein Handy nötig, einfach einschalten und loslegen. Das Fliegen ist wirklich extrem einfach. Gerade für Einsteiger perfekt. Die Drohne stabilisiert sich sauber, reagiert gut und man fühlt sich schnell sicher in der Luft. Die ganzen Assistenzfunktionen machen es nochmal einfacher. Automatisches Zurückfliegen, gespeicherter Startpunkt etc. funktionieren im Test zuverlässig. Das nimmt einem viel Stress, gerade wenn man noch nicht so viel Erfahrung hat. Kamera ist richtig gut für die Größe. Scharfe Bilder, stabile Videos durch den Gimbal und insgesamt einfach gute Ergebnisse ohne viel Nachbearbeitung. Software ist auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Menüführung logisch, alles schnell erreichbar und keine unnötige Spielerei. Man kommt schnell rein. Akkulaufzeit ist okay bis gut. Mit der Fly More Combo hat man genug Reserven, aber Wunder darf man nicht erwarten. Für ein paar gute Shots reicht es locker. Ein Punkt, den ich nicht ganz verstehe: Follow-Funktion erkennt keine Hunde oder Tiere. Gerade beim Filmen im Alltag wäre das mega praktisch. Aktuell muss man das selbst steuern, was deutlich schwieriger ist, wenn sich das Motiv bewegt. Ansonsten sind die Tracking-Features gut, solange es um Menschen oder Fahrzeuge geht. The DJI Mini 4 Pro is hands-down one of the best compact drones I’ve flown. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and packed with features that make aerial photography and videography a breeze. Flight Performance This drone handles like a dream. It’s stable even in windy conditions, responds quickly to controls, and has a long enough flight time to get all the shots I need. Takeoffs and landings are smooth, and it feels incredibly safe for both beginners and experienced pilots. Camera & Video Quality The camera is impressive for a drone of this size. Crisp, detailed footage and vibrant colors make my photos and videos look professional. Whether shooting landscapes, close-ups, or cinematic shots, the Mini 4 Pro captures it beautifully. Features & Technology Obstacle avoidance and smart flight modes are excellent. I can focus on framing my shots without worrying about crashes. The app interface is intuitive, making it easy to plan routes, track battery life, and control camera settings. Portability & Design It’s compact, folds down small, and is light enough to take anywhere. The sleek design and durable build give me confidence that it can withstand frequent travel and casual bumps. In Sachen Leistung weist diese Drohne eine lobenswerte Fähigkeit zur Hindernisvermeidung auf. Obwohl sie einerseits potenziellen Hindernissen gut ausweicht, würde eine weitere Verbesserung dieses Aspekts die allgemeine Zuverlässigkeit der Drohne erhöhen. Solange ich beim Fliegen ein wenig vorsichtig bin, kann ich selbst in komplexen Umgebungen noch erstaunliche Aufnahmen machen. Auch die Akkulaufzeit entspricht meinen Bedürfnissen und gewährleistet lange Flüge für erfolgreiche Vorhaben. Für intensive Sessions, die eine längere Sendezeit erfordern, wäre ein zusätzlicher Akku oder eine verbesserte Effizienz jedoch zweifellos willkommen. Bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen muss ich sagen, dass ein leichter Kompromiss beim Geräuschpegel zu erkennen ist. Dennoch bleibt das Gesamtergebnis von außergewöhnlicher visueller Attraktivität. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Mini 4 Pro Bedienkomfort, gute Leistung und beeindruckende Bildqualität in sich vereint. Wer ein zuverlässiges Werkzeug sucht, um neue kreative Wege zu beschreiten, sollte diese Drohne unbedingt in Betracht ziehen. Ich würde es übrigens persönlich bevorzugen, wenn sie auch D-Log unterstützen würde, wie es die Mavic 3 tut. Das wäre super hilfreich für die Farbkorrektur in der Videoproduktion

Love it, love it, love it. Quick and easy to set up, and produces great shots. Easy to use the quick download feature to get the aerial photos and videos onto my phone. DJI is always on the pricy side which reflects it's great quality. Battery life is so far good. Noise level is as expected. Strap to fold it together when compact can be a bit fiddly to close but it does protect the blades.
