Handy addition for your walking stick
Small, but does what it states.

Easy to fit and works well.
This was fitted onto an NHS walking stick. It works best if there’s a surface for the bottom of the stick to rest against rather than an empty space. It does work on a table with nothing underneath but knocks off easily. Best on the back of a chair etc.

Not fit for purpose
If I could, I would have given this product a zero rating. It fastens to the walking stick like a clothes peg, and will not fit anything larger than a slim stick, the size of a folding cane. And it is so poorly made that the first time I tried to fasten it to my stick, it came to pieces. The pivot that holds it together consists of two parts, which can only be jammed together, and cannot be fastened securely. The first time I tried to fasten the product to the stick, all the pieces came apart. I managed to put it back together, and fastened it to the stick, but there is only 15 mil of distance on the protruding part of the product, between the cane and the pad which would keep the stick from slipping if the protrusion were longer. And this short protrusion allows the stick to drop at an angle, meaning that the cane really cannot be held in place on a table or desk, etc. Not fit for purpose.

Handy but limited use
The stick hanger, which is what it is, works on very narrow shelves where the shaft of the stick touches a wall or a lower shelf. On a table top the stick pivots and the bottom end of the stick tilts under the table. This leaves the attachment with very little contact area with the table top as a result of which the stick falls to the ground. A longer folding arm on another brand of stick support will fare no better for exactly the same reason. My wife has lost two ‘hangers’. They snap off as easily as they snap onto a walking stick.

Useful clip for walking stick
Useful clip for walking sticks, clip it up your stick and rest the little cushion pad on the edge of a table/chair and this little device holds your stick in place. Stops the stick from dropping or sliding on to the floor. Good value for money, small so it can be popped in a pocket or handbag.

Very useful
I've just started to use a walking stick and now realise how easy it is for peoples sticks to be falling on the floor. When I was offered to try one of these I was doubtful but to my surprise they work well and kept my walking stick hanging on the side of the table/worktop etc. Therefore I've bought these for myself and lending them to friends to try.

Too strong
I am a 6ft bloke but the spring on this is too strong for my arthritic fingers. I tried leaving it on my stick but it gets caught up in stuff. The pads designed to grip the table need to be more 'grippy' and not soft foam. A nice idea but needs to be easier to slip on and off with stickier pads.

It works as intended
I had one of these gadgets before and found it very useful but I lost it so ordered a new one which I am very pleased with. It makes using a cane much easier when you need to put it down,.
