No more crappy umbrellas for me. This is a strong, lightweight, large, solid umbrella. Pops right open and pull to close. It kept me dry wonderfully. Love it!! I bought the yellow to be easily seen in the rain and it's beautiful. The curved handle makes it a walking stick when the rain stops. Great value for the money.

Purchased this umbrella for two adults (and a newborn) to fit under for any rain situation. Performs well and has sturdy components as well as a beautiful handle. On top of that, it comes with a matching colored sling sleeve to tote around if you have your hands full. In fact, my sleeve was damaged early on and Royal Walk sent me a brand new under warranty with relative ease and for FREE! Worth the price for a higher end, full size umbrella.

Absolutely worth every penny. I just received it in the mail and it feels very solid. Eggsy and Harry approved. 👍There’s very little flex or bend in the stretcher or ribs. There is no top spring, so it will not lock in the open position. Will it ever matter? I don’t think so, unless you’re moving headfirst into extremely heavy winds, then I suppose it’s possible it could collapse back into the closed position. The center ball spring is so powerful though, I think this is very unlikely.It is absolutely charming and sophisticated though. A couple of tiny dings in the wood handle only add to its charm. It not only keeps the rain off your head, it does so in style. A perfect umbrella for a couple out for a night out on the town, or 18 holes on the golf course, but also inexpensive enough to use for everyday tasks.A word of warning though. If you don’t possess a mediocre level of strength, especially wrist strength, it may be quite difficult for you to handle this umbrella. It’s heavy and it’s long. Trying to keep it stable by holding it from the handle on a windy day, will definitely require two hands. I expect many will try to keep a grip higher up on the tube, but even then, the extra large canopy will catch the wind like a sail. Just something to be aware of.

These umbrellas are extremely well made and have a great weight to them. They open easily and have a very large coverage area. We used these to second line into a party and they held up beautifully. I have also used them in heavy rain and the performance is perfection.
