Precision Trimmer, White, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I wanted a trimmer to keep everything in check during lockdown until I can resume my beauty appointments. This product is a trimmer NOT a shaver, so it will not give you the same close shave a razor will, but it does give you a close trim. It will not do the same job as tweezers, epilators or a razor so don't expect skin close results like some of the other reviewers. It has 2 exchangeable heads for different areas of the body. A smaller head with 2 blades - 16mm & 6mm respectably. This allows for areas such as eyebrows, top lips, chin etc where you may want a smaller blade. There is a larger one with a 20mm blade for larger areas also, such as bikini line or underarms. It comes with 3 trimmer guards for length. 2 larger ones giving 2mm & 4mm & a smaller one which you can turn round also with 2mm & 4mm. It is mostly safe to use in sensitive or wrinkly areas. Cutting or nicking of the skin is minimal, however, it is advisable to perhaps use some sort of shaving lubricant to protect the skin as some areas can get a little sore from what is effectively dragging a metal blade over the skin repeatedly. I have used both shaving oils & shower gels & both provided adequate skin protection without compromising the efficiency of the trimmer. I have used it for a full bikini trim as well as trimming my eyebrows & can report only 1 tiny nick which is far better result than when using a razor. This could also be used for shortening hair prior to waxing or epilation as it can trim the hair to 4mm which is ideal for use with other hair removal tools or if you use it without a guard, it's ideal for using with IPL treatments. PROS: • Soft, Rubber cover to allow for easy grip even when wet • Comes with a battery to get you started • Includes a pouch for storage • Is waterproof to allow for trimming in the bath or shower • Is safer than using a razor as fewer nicks or cuts • Multiple heads & trim guards gives a range of uses • Easy to use • Easy to swap heads or trim guards • Attractive looking item • No having to wait for it to charge - pop a battery in & away you go • Small enough to travel with • Doesn't need a bulky mains plug • Easy to hold • Adjustable angles on the smaller blade allow for close precision work CONS: • None I have found so far I am therefore giving this item 5 stars as it looks very good for the price. I am happy with it as it meets my needs as I knew what I was buying & its capabilities before I purchased it. It's small enough to travel with, not needing much space in luggage or a bag. I can use this around the house or when I go on holiday if needed. As with all my reviews, if anything changes I will update my review accordingly.

Ordered and fulfilled by Amazon. Cost £15. This is the newest version from Veet, September 2019. I own the older version and bought a replacement of that as well as trying this new one. In comparison to the older model, the press on/off button on this is much better. The older model has a twist on/off and can be fiddly. This also has an angled head which is useful. I really like that this one comes with a nice zipped carry case, much better than the older versions drawstring one. Although the carry case is bigger it doesn’t come undone in your bag, which has happened to me in the past with the drawstring one and all the attachments went everywhere. I like to use a trimmer on my eyebrows and have tried many different brands in the past. I specifically bought this for the eyebrow trimmer function. This brand/product is very good in comparison to other eyebrows trimmers on the market. It’s much better made than most and doesn’t fall apart after a couple of months. It seems good quality and trims my eyebrows well. It generally cuts your eyebrows reasonably well, although you need to get creative with many different cutting angles to get them even. It helps to hold your eyebrow taunt with some cutting angles. I would definitely recommend trying the larger comb attachment first as depending on your eyebrow hair shape and thickness you can get very different results. It can cut the eyebrows very short with the smaller eyebrow attachment, so take care. The eyebrow attachments slip on from the end. The fact this product comes with a bikini head attachment is a massive bonus, especially considering the price. It is very useful and very good value for the price, in my opinion. I found changing the heads a bit fiddly at first and had to read the instructions, but basically you just twist to the right to remove and twist to the left to fit. The attachments For the bikini trimmer clip on and seem secure, although I haven’t yet used them. Overall I am very happy with this and would definitely recommend it.

I watched a number of reviews on YouTube so knew this would not give a clean finish for thicker hairs. For finer hairs it works pretty well. The device is not heavy to hold and sits well in the hand. The product itself does feel quite cheap though. The pink pouch is very flimsy and of low quality. Be careful using it, especially on eyebrows as it can easily slice off more than you intend it to! Overall the product is convenient to use.

I was very unsure what to expect with this due to the very mixed reviews however due to it being on sale I decided to give it a go. What a fab little bit of kit! In the box you get the following: 》 Instructions. 》1 x Trimmer. 》1 x Eyebrow/facial attachment - (small area). 》2 x Comb guards. 》1 x Bikini/underarm attachment - (large area). 》1 x Cleaning brush. 》1 x Battery. 》1 x Plastic zip bag to keep everything together & clean. I spent a good amount of time using each individual attachment so I could give a fair & honest review. Is it any good? This trimmer is very well built & nice to look at. It is white with a dark pink colour. I have quite severe hand dexterity issues but this trimmer didn't cause me any problems whatsoever. It felt nice & light to hold, even after a long length of time, the other plus point for me was the trimmer was not too noisy & did not vibrate a lot in the hand once switched on. Each trim blade is really simple to attatch & takes only seconds to do. Two very good design features of the small attachment (the eyebrow/facial head) is it has 2 trim blade sizes. On the head of the attatchment one side has a short narrow trim (about 0.5cm width) & the other side a longer length trim (about 2.5cm width) you can also choose between 3 different head positions - left angle - straight up - right angle - this was brilliant! It made shaping the eyebrows incredibly easy & precise. This is a trimmer not a shaver but I found it still gave an incredibly smooth finish, even getting those annoying little stray eyebrow hairs that I would usually have to pluck away with tweezers. The same went for the larger attatchment head, I found this also gave a nice close, smooth finish with no pulling, tugging or redness of my skin. (just to note - the larger head is used in a straight fixed position like a normal standard shaver). I personally can not fault this trimmer at all & I am 100% happy with it. I would class myself as having average type dark eyebrows & body hair .... not too thick, thin or wiry. My normal choice of hair removal would be tweezers for eyebrows + stray hairs & shaving for legs + larger areas. Like I said earlier this is a trimmer & not a shaver but I found it did do the job incredibly well. It was close enough at removing my eyebrow hairs for me not to reach for the tweezers. The larger attatchment also provided a pain free & close, smooth trim. I would still use a razor for my legs because personally other than waxing that is the only way to get ultimate smoothness, however for larger areas that need a quick fix this trimmer is absolutely perfect. A few things I discovered during use - Go slow! Do not rush & make sure you have very good lighting & if possible a magnified mirror! Repeated slow movements over the hairs is the best way to get a close finish, especially when doing eyebrows because one slip & you would definitely find yourself missing a good chunk of brow! I give this trimmer a 5/5 rating 👍

Lower than Every Expectation. The facial compartment; It chews hair thicker than a natural (never shaved or plucked before) soft hair. You can't razor cut your self, but you can absolutely get deep scratches, while the hairs remain still there. I find it more embarrassing than just the hair. And by the way, a razor cut heals much faster, that put on hold my IPL treatment. The Bikini line compartment; not too bad with thick hair, just for a starter trimming, before the razor or cream or whatever..since it leaves behind a 2 mm hair. Not quite satisfying if you want a smooth skin or no visible hair skin area... Not, as waterproof as, it is said to be...maybe they mean the cheap vinyl case (?) Over all very disappointing Great Design Idea not Well Fulfilled. Personally I feel I've wasted my money

I was very pleased when I received this-it’s compact, light & trimmed well. I don’t use it a huge amount as I just don’t need to. I’ve tried it now & it’s not coming on at all. Tried 3 batteries, it’s definitely got a different problem, not sure why it’s suddenly not working but a little disappointed that it’s lasted only 2 years. My epilator I’ve had for almost 10! This trimmer wasn’t expensive but I see it’s almost doubled in price in just 2 years-that’s madness. It certainly needs to last much longer for £25.

I first bought a cheap pen-style trimmer - bad move! It hurt, it didn't cut the hair and left my brows red and puffy! So I decided to try this one. MUCH better. No pain, no redness. The various attachments are handy (especially the little cleaning brush) and it's all waterproof which is handy for the shower. The precision trimmer for brows takes a little bit of getting used to if you're wary like me! But it's easy to get the hang of, just take your time and you can get a close shave. I have very dark body hair and this trimmer dealt with it just fine. I've seen a couple of comments about durability, I just got it today so I can't vouch for that but it seems sturdy enough. It even came with a battery!!

Okay after making the mistake of using this without the guard and boy did I regret that! That said, it takes care of what it needs to cutting very close without guard... For being small it is quite sturdy and versatile, I will change out the cheap battery though so that it will last better. I’m pleased with the results, happy lady here.
