Both of these batteries seem to function extremely well. The original batteries no longer held a charge for very long, so these were an immediate improvement. They charge quickly and appear to perform as intended. No complaints so far.

Working well so far. Really like that the kit included the screwdriver made for those screws. They aren't exactly the same as US phillips head screws. Also included a plastic prying tool to help get the controller apart.

The only tricky thing to handle is that additional wire. There were a couple areas I couldn't exactly tuck the additional wire in:- below where the battery is installed (controller won't close fully)- freely sitting beside the battery (clearance issue with the L1/L2 triggers or pressing up against the motor)If you need to, you could loosely coil or wrap around the wire you connect with.

the kid fixed it himself, it even came with tools and upgraded screws, made him very happy

This was rated as having twice the battery as the DualShock factory battery. Well—if it did, it’s not very efficient with its discharge. It doesn’t last terribly long, but it’s not total garbage either. For the money, it gets the job done.

Worked for maybe 5 mins. Left it to charge came back to a completely broken controller. Now it won't work even when plugged in. Before it would just turn off when unplugged. Now its it shows no sighs of life not matter what.So its safe to say these batteries broke my controller. Thanks alot.I recommend this item be taken down from the store. But at the very least try a different company. Do not pay them to break your controller

you would think sony would make it easier to replace batteries. Its a little tricky and it never feels quite like new again once you break one open to do the replacement. But it works. and good. Just like it should.
