mCover Case Compatible for 2020~2022 15.6-inch HP 15-DYxxxx / 15-EFxxxx series ONLY (NOT fitting ANY other HP laptop models) Notebook PC - Orange

Wasn't sure if it would fit my specific model, but it did. HP 15s-FQ2. The orange is nice, I would have preferred an opaque finish but couldn't find one in that colour. Comes with 4 rubber feet underneath for grip. Doesn't cover USB or power ports. Covers some of the fan underneath (there are air slots), but not enough to impact performance.

This item fits my 15.6 inch HP model 15-dy4013dx almost perfectly with the exception it has no clips keeping it firmly attached near the hinge. So it flops around in that area when I pick it up. I don't really understand why there are not clips there because it would clear the area needed for the laptop to open and close and make it more secure. It's kind of a dumb design seeing as I had a similar case for an old Asus 2 in 1 that could be laid completely flat like a tablet and it had clips near the "hinge" area with no problems. I wish they would redesign this. I may return it because I'm scared I will get it caught on something and snap it off.

I know some people had trouble with the top not fitting right, or not being able to open it completely. I had that issue too at first and realized I didn't put the bottom on right. It has to fit exactly. But once i did that it was perfect. It may be helpful for the product to show a install video. Fits great and I feel good about having it should my laptop bump into something.

It fits my HP laptop and that's all I could ask for. It's not super, extremely shockproof. It looks more-or-less cosmetic but I haven't dropped it and I don't plan on testing that theory.

I love the extra protection this gives my laptop. I only marked one star off the overall because it easily shows fingerprints! Different colors may have better resistance to that.
