Do it have the recipe with it?

It shows diredtions on the box. Beer batter Dry Mix.1& 1/3 cup Flour,1 tsp salt, 1/4 teasp pepper, 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil, 2 beaten egg yolks ,(save whites), 3/4 cup flat beer(i used milk ,could use broth) Combine ingredients in bowl. gradually pour in liquid, stirring constantly. cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. beat egg whites until stiffand add to mixture just before using. There are pictures on box showing how to cut your onion and how to do the onion. there is a pamplen in box with instructions on it too. Yes the recipe for onion is in box on pamplet.

How does the 5143 work ?

U place an onion in and push down. But here's the problem,that onion mine as well be a pearl onion to get it to fit and make it blossom. It won't fit regular size onions.
