Blair Witch [DVD] [2016]

This seems like a more logical (as was said in another review "faithful") sequel to The Blair Witch Project.The Blair Witch isn't what I would consider scary, but let's not forget that it did pave the way, for the lost footage genre of horror movies, of which there are now pleanty.So this film takes place after the first one. The brother of the girl in the original movie, sets out into the woods with supportive friends to try and discover what happened to his sister, with "footage" that supposedly shows his sister is still alive living in the house that was shown in film 1. This footage turns out to be fake. However, after another hoax the first night camping the friends find themselves being terrorised by the Blair Witch, filmed in much the same way as film one, but with slightly better sound effects XDAll in all better than the book of shadows.

Well I'll officially say I've not seen the original film, except for odd bits here & there..This film I caught it soon after it begun & decided to continue watching it.... surprisingly I enjoyed it, even with the odd jump along the way.... ok having it cheap aswell also swade me to buy..Would I recommend this, actually yes I would the follow up film Blair witch 2, I'd avoid like covid-19 its beyond terrible.

i loved this movie, it does seem to carry on from the first movie, although it has a lot of shaky camera action, it is very creepy at the end and you do see the witch only briefly. as a horror fan i liked it, i watched it again and again.

Huge fan of the original Blair Witch Project from 1999, not as good but closer to the original than Book of Shadows.

Bought for my son for a birthday present and he was very pleased.
