Good budget system, no monthly fee, works well, clear crisp images.. much better than ring
Simple and easy to set up. You can add an additional HDD to expand the storage and use its full capabilities. Cameras are great quality. The cameras are power only Hardwired, the actual video / audio is on a private wireless network. You can add cameras to the home hub. So far the AI enhancement features are working well and this is by a mile better than my old ring stuff! I have the door bell from eufy and it's compatible with this system. Local storage is great and no monthly fee is even better! This is a domestic high quality system that works well for passive cctv, like not using / monitoring it from your phone 24/7 it records all the time but it’s a budget system. High end for a home but I’d think it wouldn’t be so good on larger house, after a typical 4/5 bed I’d be getting a wired system using Ethernet. Great for small properties unless they expand the range.

Expensive and 3 of 4 failed in first 4 months
These are to be fair great camera’s when they work (which is the problem), picture quality is superb and the AI functions great. Very easy to setup The issue is 4 months in and 3 out of the 4 of them have failed (completely dead) and had to be replaced under warranty by Eufy, which in itself is a long and difficult process. Given how much these cost I expected a lot better so very disappointed, I notice that the replacement models have a different hardware build version so maybe it’s Just a bad batch

Brilliant piece of kit
If you already own the eufy HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3) and are looking to add cameras that deliver pure, uninterrupted peace of mind, the E330 Professional is the answer. Moving from battery-only event recording to this continuously-wired system is a game-changer; you never have to worry about the camera missing the crucial few seconds before motion is detected or the battery running low. The 4K resolution is stunningly crisp both day and night—thanks to the built-in spotlights providing genuine color night vision—allowing you to clearly identify faces and license plates. The intelligence of the HomeBase is fully utilized here: the AI accurately filters out irrelevant notifications (like leaves blowing or local wildlife) while the face recognition feature quickly learns and tags family members, allowing you to specifically filter videos of strangers only. This combination of reliable wired power, high resolution, and local AI processing makes the E330 the most dependable camera in the entire eufy ecosystem, and because it stores everything securely on your HomeBase, there are zero monthly fees. Essential Installation and Usage Tips: Power Cable Management is Key: This camera comes with a long (16.4 ft/5m) power cable, but it's not Power over Ethernet (PoE); it's standard wired power. Your greatest challenge will be running the cable discreetly to a protected external socket. If you must use an outdoor weatherproof outlet, be aware that the size of the power brick can sometimes block the second outlet, so plan your plug space carefully. HomeBase Range Check: Although the connection to the camera is wireless, the wireless connection must be strong to stream and record 24/7 4K video. Before drilling, use the eufy app to perform a signal test at the exact mounting location to ensure the Wi-Fi signal to the HomeBase S380 is strong ("Great" is ideal). Cross-Camera Tracking: For maximum security, install your E330s with slightly overlapping fields of view. The BionicMind AI within the S380 HomeBase is designed for "Cross-Camera Tracking," which automatically stitches together footage of the same person as they move from one camera's view to the next, creating one seamless, comprehensive event timeline for quick review. Maximize AI Accuracy: Immediately after installation, make sure you open the HomeBase's settings in the app and manually tag all "Familiar Faces" (family members). The AI is self-learning, and the more accurate data you give it initially, the faster its face and body recognition will improve, leading to near-perfect filtering accuracy over time.

Good camera system.
Good quality and function. I like that you can record continuously, and don’t have to pay for cloud storage, unlike my previous system. I am not convinced by the AI part, there have been lots of false triggers; with garden furniture etc being flagged up as a human which is quite disconcerting, or the contrast between shadows and sunny spots being flagged up. Sometimes there is quite a delay between something being seen and a message being sent, but that seems to have improved recently.

Image quality great, app great and motion detection okay.
I already have the S330 battery solar cams and a dual wireless doorbell so its safe to say I am stuck in the ecoaystem now. Homebase 3 is great and has a strong signal to all the cameras around the house. I fitted a cheap SSD to the homebase after installing this camera for the 24/7 recording. App has some things I would like to change but Eufy are often good with this. Motion detection works great but I am not sure it relys so heavily on the PIR like the battery ones. As its recording 24/7, alerts always show a second or so before motion, unlike the battery ones that usually miss the first second due to them booting up. I feel the app could be smoother when scrolling through footage. Image is almost identical to the S330's which was already a good 4k image. HDR is actually not needed to be honest. Night vision is strong and you can set it to activate the light when motion is detected for colour night vision, which is very good. I have mine attached to Hone Assistant and Alexa and the camera now actuvates alerts on my phone and TV and switches on a security light. Winner!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Video Quality & Effortless Setup
I recently purchased the Eufy Security eufyCam E330, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night. It’s as if the camera adds an extra set of eyes to your home that never miss a detail. Setting it up was an absolute breeze. I’m not particularly tech-savvy, but the app walked me through each step effortlessly. Within minutes, I had the camera mounted and connected, ready to protect my home. Here’s the best part: just a week after installing it, the EufyCam captured a package delivery I wasn’t expecting. When I watched the playback, the footage was so sharp that I could even read the tiny label on the box as the courier placed it on my doorstep! This level of clarity and reliability gives me peace of mind I’ve never had before. If you’re looking for a security camera that combines premium quality with hassle-free setup, the EufyCam E330 is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Too Many Problems - One Camera Broken
So, I have to say I’m very disappointed. These cameras are not ready for market I feel. Firstly, the mount is very annoying (not a typical ball mount) this makes it very hard to position correctly when installing, especially if you need both horizontal and vertical adjustment. Anyway, the instructions are also poor, because after installing it, I tried to pair with the Homebase. What they don’t tell you is that your camera needs to be within a meter to pair BEFORE installing, this is because the Homebase actually plays a high pitched audio signal which the camera listens to. So… i uninstall the camera, then bring it back to pair it, finally it works. Now comes the real problem, I brought 2 cameras at the same time. One of them has an incorrect timezone, when it’s set to BST this camera is an hour behind the real time. I’ve tried everything they suggest, resetting, repairing, changing timezone, even uninstalling the camera and re-pairing it to the Homebase. Nothing. This is not just an annoyance, it also breaks the 24/7 recording functionality, and the AI multicam stitching. Here’s the kicker - if you set the timezone to one not affected by daylight saving times, then the time zones are matching across all cameras. What is also strange is that the problematic camera is many firmware versions behind than the working camera, but the app says it’s up to date. The serial number also has a different format, so I’m worried I have some kind of different camera here. Furthermore, eufy support have really let me down. I can normally rely on this company (Anker) to have excellent customer service. But in this case they simply pointed me at the knowledge base article about how to change timezone (i already did this) and now I’m waiting potentially days for a response. Really not good enough. I’d say, this product is not ready for market; and I highly recommend to avoid it for now. Of course, if anyone from Eufy wants to make this right, please get in touch. Update: Eufy fixed the timestamp problem, but I’m afraid more and more issues keep occurring. To Clarify I brought this system along with the doorbell, two of their solar cams and Homebase 3 and the indoor camera. I brought it to replace a ring system and I wish I hadn’t… 1. So many false alerts, the video doorbell constantly notifies me about humans and animals even outside of the activity zone. No changing of settings can resolve this. 2. Incorrect alerts, several times the doorbell has notified me packages have been picked up. Mostly while I am driving which causes me to stop and check, low and behold the parcels are there just fine (i always donate these videos) 3. General camera drop outs, the internal camera keeps just going offline. No reason for this, and it’s about 3 meters away from the Homebase, so signal should not be a problem. 4. The app doesn’t load a snapshot of the camera when you open it, you have to go and stream each camera individually for the image to update. 5. Firmware update weirdness, different cameras seem to be on different firmware and the only way they can be updated is to contact eufy and have them enable the firmware update on the back end, this is super weird. 6. Speed of doorbell notifications, the notification isn’t delivered anywhere near as fast as the £30 ring doorbell this £110 model from eufy replaced. Often people have gone by the time the notification is received. 7. The volume of the Homebase chime is far too low, despite being set on full. And I cannot seem to purchase an additional chime for the Homebase 3? All in all, I cannot recommend this system right now. I am a big fan of Anker and previous eufy products, but this experience sucks!

Reliability 👎. My Eufy security camera worked well at first with clear video and easy setup but it completely failed just after a year. It stopped powering on. I tried using the other power supply from another camera but no success. While the no-subscription feature is great, the poor long-term durability makes it hard to trust. Overall, good features—but not built to last. Save your money please ☹️
