Hi Ladies, could anyone tell me will this hair color cover white hair, and is this chemical free? How long will it last? Thanks in advance!!!!

It is absolutely NOT chemical free. I love this product and have been using it for 10 years, but just bc it says "Natur" in the title, don't extrapolate a meaning of chemical FREE. It excludes ammonia and resourcinol (which is excellent) but it still has an EWG score of 8 out of 10 (10 being worst) for toxicity because, well, in order to permanently color one's hair, chemicals are required. Important to note that even ammonia based colors also come in at an 8/10, so I don't know what's up with that. Oh, and yes, it covers white hair beautifully and takes a long time to fade on me. I know this is an old question but I want current readers to see an accurate answer.

I see Naturtint has to be "all used", you can't just mix as much as you want, and save the rest for touch ups...anyone done this anyway??

I always get four colorings from one box. (I have short hair, not very thick.) I get out my digital kitchen scale, a small glass jar, plastic spoon, and "surgical" gloves. I measure out 1/2 oz of developer in the glass jar, and then 1/2 oz of colorant, and mix with the plastic spoon. I add about 1-1/2 teaspoons of water to think it a bit (I sometimes use my hair conditioner instead of water), and then apply to my hair with the spoon and my gloved hands. I comb it through a bit with a comb. I do not apply with the squeeze bottle. Works like a charm. Just put the lids back on the developer and color bottles, replace in the box and put it away for the next coloring. Subsequent colorings are just as good as the first. Hope this helps! You could try using half the amount of coloring if you have more hair. Hope this helps.
