Wirenest 100ft VISCA PTZ Camera Control Cable for Sony EVI/BRC/SRG Series RS232 8 Pin Mini DIN to DB9F Serial

Since we’re just talking about a cable here, let me get right to the point. In my application it works. I use this to control a PTZ camera with my controller. And the cable works wonderfully. If you’re reading this review to find out if it’s made of a high-quality rubber or it’s flimsy or something like that, I couldn’t tell you because it feels like a normal cable to me. It’s not overly thick so I was able to run it just fine and I have not seen any signal loss or any issues with it. I plugged it in and it worked. Nothing significant to report.

It works great to control PTZ cameras.

I needed a RS232 to USB cable for my PTZ camera to a newly purchased joystick PTZ camera controller. The Wirenest cable worked perfectly and had the right length. The price was right too!

This is a cable for remote placement of a PTZ in a church. The cable appears to well constructed and should fit our needs to mount our camera for our broadcasts. This is the second camera for our streaming broadcasts.

This works out of the box with PTZ cameras. Please note that a cascading cable features cross over circuitry. You will not be successful controlling your PTZ cameras by purchasing straight through cables. We use two AviPas cameras to a HuddleCam joystick.

I'd brought a load of other misc 8 pin mini DIN serial cables.. Which either didn't work.. OR seemingly lead to misc communication issues between the cameras in the VISCA chain and BR300 PTZ controller that was controlling them.. But THIS was THE FIRST cable to PROPERLY WORK WITH THEM for once.
