Worth it
I buy one of these per year for the last three years (night shift L.E.) The first one I bought (3+ years old now) still works great. I generally get three full shifts out of one flashlight before I have to recharge. I usually have one on my belt, one in my pocket (backup) and one on the car charger. Durable: I have dropped them, bashed them, rolled them off a car hood, etc. Haven't failed yet. Battery life has not diminished over the years and charge port has held up well. Brightness gets the job done without totally blinding my night vision. One click for bright, additional clicks to dim down. Strobe mode needs a firm double tap, but I never use it and I like that you don't have to cycle through strobe mode to dim your light down. Perfect fit for my hand and the ends are not annoyingly sharp. The only complaint is the clip and lanyard are kind of worthless, but I just pull them off and don't use them. Reliable for three years and counting, unbreakable, and cheap enough that if I lose it I won't cry like it was a Sure Fire or Streamlight.

Effective and a Good Value
I bought BYBLIGHT based on reviews, price and rechargeability. My only problem is a defective charging cable. If cutting costs, I think the charge cable is the place to do it. Otherwise the light is the right size, has some heft and feels good in the hand. It's easy to use with one hand when placed between your first two fingers and operating the switch with your thumb. It arrived uncharged and inoperable. The charging cable was intermittent and replaced after a successful 4 hour charge. According to the specs you get about 3 hours on high beam. I left it on for more than an hour on high, the unit got warm and the head was hot. I can see why. This is a very powerful light on high and can dazzle blind an opponent if aimed at the eyes. The strobe function defaults to high beam so if you ever need it and there's someone around you should be seen. After checking out brightness settings for a few days I decided to leave it on "low". More than sufficient for my use and spec'd for 15 hours. It's as bright on low than the light I have been using is on high. the lanyard is a little small for my hand but I don't intend to use it. Other than the intermittent charging cable the unit appears well built, has a very bright LED, a rechargeable battery that can handle it and is IP67 water resistant. Nice light, hope it proves out.

Small, lightweight and bright
This makes a great every day carry! Much better than a single cell AA battery flashlight. The only thing to be aware of is that there is very little warning when the battery needs charging. One moment its bright and the next moment its lights out. But that does not take away any stars on the rating.

Best $20 deal I've found so far
This isn't really a "tactical" light because of the delays in turning on/off, but as an EDC light it seems to be okay so far. I haven't tested the water tightness or longevity of the battery yet. (Stay tuned.) The charging works well. The seals appear to be IP67-compliant; I'll know more after running a few charges through this thing, dropping it on hard surfaces a few times, and using the cap switch a few hundred cycles. I've got no calibrated luminosity gauge, but the 800 lumens seems about right when compared to a dozen other lights I have.As far as the 18650 being permanently installed and the unit being sealed up at battery EOL, you gotta believe that anybody with a gram of initiative can figure out how to disassemble this thing and get the dead cell out. Even if the light is destroyed during disassembly at least the dead cell is removed and handled separately from the remainder of the light. The end cap where the lanyard attaches unscrews from the end barrel and reveals another plate having a triangular hole arrangement. This appears to be access to the tail end of the works, but I haven't taken it apart to see if so.Stay tuned and I'll update this review when I get some more miles on this thing. For $20, though, you can't beat it with a stick. Got one more because the first one went on an AR.

Excellent light for the money
I drive professionally mostly at night. I use this light at least 10 times a day. I typically get about 2 years out of one. I expect if you were going to have one for standby, or occasional use it would last much longer. The high setting is super bright. Recharge is easy with any USB port.

Performs well, charging port is weak link
I like the weight and feel of them and in general they feel well made. I bought a pair of these to have on hand at home for emergencies, power outages, etc., so they don't get a ton of daily use.I top up their charge every couple of months; unfortunately after 8 months I was unable to fully insert the charging cable into one of the flashlight's charging port. Somehow the thin strip of metal in the center of port got bent and now I can no longer charge it. These haven't been charged more than a half dozen times!

I'm used to a brighter light but it filled in fine.
Decent for the price.
