Okay, so if you're here to buy a Class-3 laser (which really isn't allowed to be sold to civilians) then you have found the right product. This is NOT a flashlight as advertised. While it does state in the "fine print" on the product page this is a Class-3a laser, I am inclined to believe this is actually a Class-3b laser (lasers only go to class-4, so this poses and instant and lifelong eye/skin damage risk). This product when fully charged produces a 450nm wavelength blue beam that I have found (when properly focused) can set items on fire at 20+ feet.This product WILL INSTANTLY BLIND YOU - not only from a direct beam strike to the eye, but even from accidental reflections from the beam hitting light colored or white colored objects. This should NEVER be used indoors - the laser scatter from the beam alone indoors could be enough laser radiation to damage the eyes. The "protective goggles" included in the package DO NOT WORK. The beam passes through them and is not attenuated. You will need to purchase real laser shielding goggles (check out the amazon product titled:FreeMascot Professional OD 4+ 190nm-540nm/ 600nm-700nm Laser Safety Glasses - I personally own these and have tested them on this exact laser to find them effective)Overall, if you are familiar with CL-3 lasers and have proper training and safety equipment - this is a quality item. Both the laser body itself and the included carry case are well made. When the beam has been discharged for a long time the body acts as a good heatsink keeping the diode cool. Also, a nice feature is batteries and a charger are also included. The laser is quality and the price is right.PLEASE REMEMBER: This could product should be considered as dangerous as a gun. Like a gun, in a fraction of a second you could change someone's life. While you may not kill them, you could take away their sight instantly and irreversibly. Be responsible and do not buy as a casual toy.

This is a legitimately focus high-powered laser. Be careful and use eye protection. The laser comes with glasses but I strongly recommend getting a real pair of laser blocking safety goggles. Not a toy, use with caution.

Product works as advertised, some things will not ignite and some things will. Do not shine this is your eyes! Be very careful. This laser makes a nice little show is the night sky. For me it is well worth it for when I take my dog for night walks. You can also use this laser as a source to start a camp fire, with a little practice and adjusting of the angle of the beam of course. I love it.

When I receive this item I charged the batteries overnight and in the morning the led indicator on the charger was still showing red. This prompred me to test both batteries with a multimeter and I found that they each had no voltage across their leads. Not sure how the laser it self works because I have no way to use it, but if the battery state is any indication my hopes are very low.

Of all I've bought, this is the coolest. Don't aim it into a camera while recording...be careful it will burn you. NOT FOR ANY KIDS. Be considerate of others.....no aiming it at heads or faces...it will blind someone.
