Yuasa YC 24Ah Golf Trolley Battery 18 Hole

Fantastic product. Fits very snugly in the carry tray of my HillBilly electric trolley. The 27 hole capacity not tried yet but bursting with power after 18 so I have no doubt in this product. Very, very good Value For Money.

Disappointing. I've now used the battery for six rounds and it seems a bit underpowered. Already it has to be at 6 to move at my walking pace. I'm used to chugging along at 4. However, if it continues to operate at 6 for the next two or three seasons, perhaps I'll review my opinion. I'm not confident it will!

Good value for money, difficult to see any reason for not buying this battery, would definitely look to purchase the same when required.

I have been using the battery for a few weeks now and it is great. No issues completing a very hilly course twice a week.Delivery was very quick. Minor issue that the 'T'-bar connector had been forgotten, but there was no issue in getting that resolved and posted to me immediately.

I purchased this 27 hole battery 2 May 2013. The battery worked fine for 7 months- I spoke to NRG Power Systems- they told me to do all the checks at this end i.e. charger, trolley - which I did. I tried a new charger on the battery from my local pro- still only got me round 15 holes. I tried a new battery on my trolley from the pro- no problems- plenty of power. Everything at my end- fine. So I rang NRG - cost me £7.50 to send the battery back. They did all their tests and said the battery was fine. I complained and they said they would test it again. Still said it was fine. The NRG boss said he would take my battery on to the course to test it. If he believes his equipment is 100%- why would he do that? Also tried to sell me a new battery at a discounted price. If my battery was fine- why would he do that? So I asked them to send me the battery back. When I looked at my e-mails I found that they were charging me £15 to get the battery back- why was it not £7.50 again? They said they were charging me for testing it as well. I have ended up with no battery and over £60 out of pocket- make your own minds up. In my opinion I feel I have been extremely badly treated as a customer.

New battery was delivered within 48 hours of being ordered. The corner of the t-bar was broken, and although I reckoned the battery's performance wouldn't be affected in any way, I e-mailed NRG to make them aware of the defect. They replied immediately to apologize and said a replacement t-bar had been despatched. It arrived two days later and was easy to fit. NRG's service and level of communication were both excellent and I would recommend them as suppliers. So far,I've used the battery three times to complete 18 holes and there seems to be plenty of power remaining after each round, but it's too soon to give the battery a five star rating.

A good battery at a good price. They sent a replacement battery very quickly and the customer service was excellent but take great care not to drop or jar the battery as the first one we had failed and we think it was damaged in transit indicating that they might be a little fragile.

Battery worked well for the 18 holes that I played with it with plenty of power at the end of the round. It is rated as a 27 hole battery so should always be good for 18. A great battery for the price.
