I was a idiot and used a weed eater to close the the bike and as luck would have it a rock hit the digitizer on the factory radio and shattered it, I replaced it with this radio and I absolutely love it and works better than stock

Super easy installation. Used Rockford fosgates YouTube video for step by step instructions. Sounds good with stock speakers but I will probably upgrade those as soon as I can. Love that there is a highway, city, or garage equalizer mode plus custom settings. No complaints.

Absolutely a horrible product. Sound quality not near what you expect. Dealt with unit constantly dropping the Bluetooth connection and the screen going black for almost two years just because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of pulling it out. 2 months after the warranty expired the screen went completely out and Fosgate says oh well just buy another one. No thanks I will go with Kenwood.

I found this stereo leaving much to be desired. First, I will admit that it is extremely simple to install and with the exception of removing and running the attached USB cord to your fairing cubby, it is absolutely plug and play. However, there is no spot to plug in your GPS antenna and the unit is not GPS equipped. Not a huge deal if you’re going to be using CarPlay for your navigational needs. I do like that this unit has a multi-band EQ to really fine tune the sound you want. But unless you’re immediately installing an amp and upgraded speakers, don’t expect to hear that amazing sound at any speeds over 50 mph. This unit is not pushing out anywhere near the power of the Harley Boom GTS radio. The screen display had great color but it is not as clear as the stock unit when riding in bright sunny conditions. This unit was absolutely Apple CarPlay ready without the need for any jumpers or whims but I did have an issue with my phone randomly disconnecting and reconnecting regardless of the cable I was using and even with my wireless CarPlay adapter. The last thing I’ll mention is that you lose a lot of information, settings, and control features with this thing. For example, I can no longer choose in the settings to change the odometer to mph or kmh. I know it seems meaningless right? Well not when your scoot decides to switch it to kmh on your gauge odometer and you no have no known way to switch it back to mph. I will be uninstalling this unit and reinstalling my stick head unit.

Got this for Christmas and couldn’t be happier. What an upgrade. Easy install using their videos. CarPlay has changed my life on the bike. Only complaint (and it’s not a big one) is I wish they had embedded WiFi for CarPlay over having to tether to a USB cable. I got around that using a Amzfeel CarPlay dongle. I have a 2017 Ultra Limited and felt like it was time to upgrade. I looked at a few radios but the deciding factor was that the Rockford Fosgate was the only one compatible with the Harley C.B. module which I currently own. I love the radio however I’m only giving it 4 stars for two reasons. 1. I was only changing my radio which sounded fine I just liked the additional features of the Rockford Fosgate. The new radio sounds very clear however it can barely be heard on the highway. My factory radio could be heard clearly at 80 mph. The factory radio obviously puts out more power. I do did not have an amp, only the factory radio. I had to purchase new Rockford Fosgate speakers and an 800 watt amp (an additional $1300.00) Now I can hear it clearly at 80 mph but I wish I didn’t have to make the additional investment. 2. The other reason for only 4 stars is as I said I have the C.B. module. When I had the cb installed at the dealership several years ago I had them flash the system to swap the location of the PTT button from the right control to the left control as it is difficult to throttle and push the PTT at the same time. It worked flawlessly with the factory radio but the Rockford would not recognize the ptt button. Simple fix, I just had the dealership flash the button back to the factory side and it now works. If you have an amp or are planning on buying one with this radio and you are using the C.B. with the factory setting, you will not be disappointed, this thing has lots of options and sounds incredible,
