My son wanted to distinguish his bath robe from others, so we got the letter. It is as advertised. I first ironed it on which held quite well, but then took it to get sewn on as a secondary "safety" feature. Not too stiff. Not flimsy. He is happy so I am happy. It looks good and we are happy with the quality

I got these to personalize some jerseys for a family event. The letters are large enough for front chest application. They adhered well with the use of a heatpress. I didn't have any guidance for that type of application so I winged it a bit. I'm not sure how these will handle being washed. They looked nice.

If you consider it carefully these letter patches really have two different thicknesses. The edging is quite thin, and the white Chenille part is pretty darn thick. I put a wood block behind the target material for ironing on, then found that I could get it started by going around the edges first with the iron. The edges held the letter in place well and I followed up with a full surface heating to get the adhesive in the center (under the Chenille) to adhere. Worked perfectly. There is no hint of edge gap even trying to pick under the edges with a fingernail.
