A simple, inexpensive, full HDTV -- Exactly what I needed!
Review of the TuTu TV (model TUB22EFN) without the DVD player. Our ceiling-mounted installation is similar to one that you may see used as surveillance camera displays in a store. I needed to install a confidence monitor on the back side of a larger monitor that faced an audience. They would share the same video source via a splitter (I am using a J-Tech Digital HDMI, 4K, 60Hz, 1X4, multi-resolution output splitter). The larger monitor displays the full 1080p source, and I did not want the confidence monitor to reduce the signal down to 720 for both screens. My requirements were simple: An inexpensive monitor in the 20 to 24-inch range that offered an HDMI input, displays a full HD 1080P signal, included a VESA mount and an IR remote control, and was NOT a so-called smart TV. I needed the monitor to turn on and connect to the HDMI input with a single press of a button. A few years back there would have been quite a few options available, but it took some extensive searching to find a currently available model that met these requirements. It seems that most manufacturers have gone all-in on smart TV's which can require interactive navigation to display the desired source, particularly if the power is interrupted. I did try using an Insignia brand smart TV and found its operation annoying and completely unacceptable for my needs.I was skeptical about a monitor from a brand name I had never heard of, but it was about the only unit I could find that met my requirements. The scant information that I found suggested that this TuTu might be a re-badged RCA model (which may resolve some cable/streaming device remote issues). The manufacturer offers a one-year warranty. It seemed prudent in this case to purchase the additional warranty as well. This TV is about as basic as you will find, and a bit of a throw-back with only one port of each type: HDMI in, VGA with 3.5mm audio in, AV in, RF, USB, and 3.5mm earphone. Ther are no loop-thru or ARC ports, and no wired or wireless network connections, but this monitor is an unlikely candidate for the heart of fancy entertainment system. The power plug is permanently connected. The USB media player (text, audio, and photo) supports the following formats: txt, mp3, jpg, jpeg, bmp, and png. It does not support video formats. The housing for the speakers at the bottom of the unit protrudes backward, which restricts access to the downward-facing video inputs (see photos posted by other reviewers). This may be an obstacle for longer stick-type HDMI sources, but this issue could be easily resolved with a short HDMI extension cable. I cannot comment on the sound quality (the most common complaint) since I keep it muted. One of the things that I appreciate about the design is that it includes six separate buttons on the rear of the unit that allow direct access to functions such as volume, channel, source, and menu (see photo). I find this preferable to navigating through menus to access these functions using one of those silly push-button/joysticks that have become so popular on most recent models, and certainly better that than those models that rely entirely on a remote control. The remote control can access most functions directly with one notable exception: It does not offer direct access to a desired input. Instead, you must cycle thru each one. I also would prefer to have separate commands for powering the monitor on and off. Both of these would make programming macros with third party devices much easier. The remote uses NEC format, hex coding: 20DF. The Auto button and the row of colored buttons (see photo) do not apply to this model and do not seem to be programable. The screen has a wide angle of view (about 160 degrees) and is reasonably bright and sharp. It supports select resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz (native), and it is rated at a 5ms response time. These specs may not be ideal for serious gamers, but it is certainly sufficient for casual viewing. So far, this TuTu TV it has been operating for several hours a day for the past three months and I am very happy with it! When it is turned on, it displays the source input within about 10 seconds with no further action required. I may buy another one for field video production work.I may be giving this TuTu TV somewhat higher rating than it actually warrants, but it is one of the best options available for those who have basic needs or requirements, or wish to avoid unnecessary complexity, and I would like to see such options remain available.

Great TV but unknown when pairing with universal remote
Perfect TV for my bedroom for background noise at nighttime, but be sure to guard the remote with your life... I have searched and searched for the code to pair the TuTu TV with my cable remote and I cannot find it. The remote that comes with the TV is very fragile feeling, so I am scared that if something happens to the original remote, you are SOL and will have to manually turn on/off and control volume, which is horrible. Great TV though, picture is good and sound as well.

Amazing TV!
Amazing TV! They donโt sell Non-Smart TVโs really anymore in stores so this was the PERFECT TV for my senior father! We had gotten him a Smart TV a few years ago but he has dementia so he forgot how to use it and he kept calling us to fix it for a few months constantly we had to go to his house to turn the cable back on for him because he didnโt understand how to use the smart features which was nerve racking! This TV arrived today and it was a great value and Non-Smart TV which has already been a dream! The 40โ is a super nice perfect size and the picture is absolutely beautiful! Thanks to TuTu and Amazon, We donโt have to stress anymore as my dad loves it! Definitely recommend especially for seniors!

A very smart, non-smart TV
I want a TV that catches my roof antenna signal and this TV does that. It's hard to find the "non-smart" TVs these days, The so called smart TV's always default back to streaming when they're powered off and must be re-set every time it's powered back on . This non-smart TV keeps its setting for antenna, it is excellent, great 1080p resolution, it was easy to set up with on-screen cues it took only 2 minutes with the included, user-friendly remote control.

DON'T BUY THIS TV IF YOU want a non-smart!!!!!
Great TV, EXCEPT, bad remote and it will not work without the remote and they go bad. Absolutely no buttons on TV to turn on or off. Apparently, remotes are an issue and they didn't have any to buy or get free, since it was a new TV. They wanted me to wait weeks to get a new remote and meanwhile, no TV. Ridiculous

22 inches of Beautiful Picture and Sound... Love this little workhorse "non-smart" television!
For being a "non-smart" television, I find it quite smart indeed. It has almost everything one could ask for: Easy set-up; well-made/constructed; excellent picture and sound quality (even via rca composite!); it is multi-purpose, with so many different inputs for one's needs. One doesn't see composite input much anymore and I appreciate it being there as an option. I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase at this point in time - It's a sweet little flat screen which seems larger than it is - she really stands out. :)The only negative I will comment on is that my model does not have any controls on the back of the set. Only the on/off button. It does make me quite nervous to have in my mind, "if the remote control quits I'll lose all ability to adjust or change anything". I did suggest to the seller of TuTu to make the remotes to these sets available for purchase. I see many commented they cannot find a universal remote to pair with this brand? So, Amazon/TuTu if you're listening... I love my little television! The only thing that would make me more happy would be a remote that's easily replaced at any time needed in future. Thank you so much! Will update if anything changes with this workhorse gem of a "non-smart" flat screen television. :)

Work fine but description is incorrect
I bought this for my father who only watches over the air tv. It works fine but in the pictures it shows that the connection for the antenna is on the side interface. I wanted that because his old tv broke due to the connection being underneath. This connection is also underneath so I am disappointed in that.

Picture and sound are good.
Arrived on time in good condition. Picture and sound are good. My sister wanted a basic TV so she has not explored beyond that.

Basic Tv that fits the space we needed it
This is a basic tv.. no bells or whistles. We just needed to replace our RV tv and had a very small space that it fits into (on a turning stand to switch from bedroom to main area). Our options were limited and this did the trick. We can now plug in an ipad using and HDMI cable to get downloaded shows through the TV. Quality is ok.
