not just small version of k9 ball launcher, balls are mini size too
might be good for a small dog. i had the normal size one which broke after 3 years of use. i thought this was simply a smaller launcher so more convenient to carry on walks so i were disappointed to find it uses smaller balls. i cannot find any statement in the description about it only being suitable for small balls therefore only for small dogs. so unfortunately it is no use to me as my dog could easily swallow the balls it uses. i will now be ordering the normal size k9 kannon which i hope will last as long as the last one. i would not recommend if you can throw a ball without injuring yourself as they don't fire the ball far but if your shoulders get injured very easily so you cannot throw a ball many times using a ball thrower then i would definitely recommend the k9 kannon although you should also check out the nerf dog ball launcher, i couldn't use that one due to the slider mechanism being too stiff but it may be suitable for those who don't have problems with their hands

Toy gun
Great doggy toy. Only played indoors so goes far enough for us. Unfortunately since a scare on fireworks night our dog is scared of loud noises and this unfortunately does give a loud pop. So he just stares at us and takes no notice of the ball bouncing around.

When it worked it was good
I bought this to resolve shoulder injury when throwing dog balls, this worked fine and I would have continued using it but the ratchet went after a couple of days and I returned it, received no quibble refund.

Shoots around 10-15m, good for a small to medium size dog and their owner as a bit of fun. For a bigger dog I don't think it would shoot far enough

Doesn’t shoot very far!
A normal size tennis ball does not fit in it, only a reduced size one and you can easily throw the ball further than how far this gun shoots it.

Could be quite dangerous in the wrong hands but a good launcher
Great buy trouble is my jack Russell attacks the gun but will enjoy this in the winter on the beach
