Too Hot To Use
Its a shame 3M decided to discontinue their Quadratic Hot Melt applicator. They have worked well for decades. This replacement gun needed to be returned as the outside became very hot, it wasn't safe to be in a work environment. In addition, instructions stated to turn off the gun when not in use. For a gun designed for industrial use that is not possible, not very efficient. Otherwise, the gun worked fine in terms of delivering hot melt fast.
